to me zane interacting with anyone is hilarious just on account on being genuinely minifig sized but still made of metal. you can in fact step on him, but it'd be like stepping on a cubic inch of titanium. and this cubic inch of titanium will info dump to you for 4 hours if you let him. or sweep you in chess.

I was under the impression that studying the material and, as people say, 'putting myself in their shoes-' it all would improve my investigation skills. Research dictates this is how a detective acts - they must narrate their surroundings and their personal thoughts. As an added touch, I also remove the saturation in my vision to mimic the typical black-and-white coloring. I can only assume something about the filter must make it crucial in playing the role of a detective.

#on the fritz(ooc)#zane i have only written on tumblr. the original plan was to match hamlet's kai ninjaoffire url. ...ninjaofice was taken.#so INSTEAD i looked at synonyms for kind/gentle and eventually found benign. this is to reference zane's genuine goodhearted nature.#cold because ice element and that cold can be seen as withdrawn and unemotional - and he can be kinda distant.#being considered unemotional however genuinely ticks him off - you want him angry? claim he's that.#on top of that cold plays nicely in the sense of...ice emperor #and once again we have antonyms!! benign references kind and cold references unfriendly - though zane isn't actually unfriendly.

He waited for Zane's attention to return to his work because getting out of the chair. He crouched down beside the android and pressed his ear against the side of his head. Like someone trying to listen through a locked door.

"Is she sure? I think you might have missed a spot!" he lied, waiting to see if anything would result.

The faint noises and shifting of shadows... So the other is now close. He eyes Hacker, not moving a single step away despite being what most people might describe as an uncomfortable distance, even as he loudly speaks.

"She's confident. You would be in error. My sensors do not indicate an issue, and my systems are running as they should and functioning properly." He can see P.I.X.A.L's offended and annoyed look on his user interface - likely from the presumption she somehow screwed up and isn't really good enough.
