While tons of people are at cons this weekend hubby and I made our own private one #babycon15. Our little girl was born yesterday at 8:40pm and I'm already in so much love with her 😍. She's in the NICU to be checked on some things but seems to be doing well. I just want to hold her all day long ❤️. She'll definitely be a cosplay baby at some point.

This video is just a quick tutorial on how to finish edges when you don’t own/have access to a serger. I was doing it wrong for years before I learned this method, so I figure there’s a good chance someone else has been doing it wrong too.

Not everyone can afford a serger, but everyone can have nice, clean edges.

Yes you CAN see every post on facebook!

I constantly see cosplayers post on their facebook pages about how low their reach is (and yes, that does suck) and how people can’t see their page. I see fans posting the same thing. Did you know there’s a way around that, and you CAN see EVERY POST from the pages you follow?

BLASPHEMY!

No, I’m for cereal here guys. I’ve been preaching facebook lists for awhile now, and have even made my own with over 1,000 cosplayers and photographers, but sadly I only have 3 people following the list eventhough I push it constantly.

You DO have to be on a computer to create the list (a pain, I know, since we’re on our phones 99% of the time now) but when you view the list (i favorite mine so that it’s at the top, i’ll post photos of that in a second).

So now you’re thinking, well stop typing and get to it lady!

All right, all right, if you insist :P

STEP 1 (WHERE?!?!)

Technically, it’s called INTERESTS (well, makes sense, right?)

So, get on facebook.com and scroll down to the side until you see this:

Now, yours won’t say ‘stuff’, I’ve created a few lists for myself. But you’ll need to click on the more link that shows up once you’ve hovered to the side of the ‘interests’ text  here’s a direct link: https://www.facebook.com/bookmarks/interests

So this is what that page looks like for me. Here you can view your previous lists, edit them and of course add more. So we’re making a new list, so click on ‘+Add Interests’

STEP 2 (CREATE YO LIST)

so this is what that next page should look like. You can search for lists or follow some they think you’ll like (pffft I don’t like any of these, so we’re going to ‘Create List’

You’ll actually get a popup, BUT i’m only posting this area because I’d rather you NOT see my personal fb thx

So here’s what pops up for me, but it’ll be different for everyone. Listed are pages that i’ve liked on my personal page. !!!! HOWEVER, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LIKE THE PAGE TO ADD IT TO THE LIST !!!!!

So in the search area, I searched for my page, and it showed up and all you have to do is click on the icon. You can add more later, but we’re just getting your list started, so we’ll keep going :D (psssst click on next)

So first let’s chose a list name. I already have a list, so i’ll just make something up for the purpose of this tutorial, but you can name it anything you want.

Next is who can see this list. If you want this list just for yourself, that’s totally cool, you’ll change it to Only Me. If you just want the people on your flist, chose Friends. If you want the list public (anyone can see it) keep it as is. We all good, so click done.

STEP 3 (ADD ADD ADD!!!!)

So now we’re at the manage page. This is where you can add more people (yes, actual people AND pages), share your list and of course delete it if you want. 

So let’s add some more people to this list, I mean it’s kinda boring just seeing my own page.

Go ahead and type a cosplay name that you know, OR if you type in just ‘cosplay’ you’ll get quite a few. 

So this is what it looks like when I just type in ‘cosplay’. I’m not sure how it figures out what to pull up, BUT to add a page, all you have to do is click on the blue area that’s highlighted. 

So, now I have a few people added, but what if I added something accidentally? (OOPS). Click on the link that says ‘See All’

So that’s what we have for now. To take someone off, hover over the icon and an ‘x’ will show up, like this:

and just click on the white X to remove the page.

Here though you can keep adding and adding and adding. Like I said I have over 1,000 on my other list (i’m not sure there’s a limit?)

But let’s say you have TONS of pages liked or following but you can’t remember. ITS OK :D See where it says On This List ? Click on that and you can chose your friends, pages and following.

Annnnnd here’s all the pages you’ve liked! To add more pages, just click on their icon. The more pages you have liked, the long it’s going to take to scroll (just warning ya)

So after you’re done with all that, click Finish

STEP 4 (WHERE IS IT??)

So you’re probably wondering where on earth is your list on the navigation now that you’ve made it.

Well, I favorite mine so I don’t lose it.

So how you do that is go back to the INTERESTS area again on the side and click ‘More’.

You’ll see your lists (along with the one you just made)

Well, you see that gear on the right side of the name? Click on that , and then click Add to Favorites.  

You can also delete the list from here.

SO EASY.

And I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS see EVERY SINGLE UPDATE from the pages I have on this list, and now you can view the list on your mobile as well.

See guys? Facebook doesn’t suck THAT bad.

Derp selfie before the contest. I was really honored to get chosen by cospod as one of the judges for the friday night contest at #allcon. Ive been having some issues with self esteem in my sewing (neo queen) and this con helped so much. I also thought i wouldnt feel good in cosplay being pregnant and all but I got several compliments 💗. Thank you guys for still cheering me on even though Ive been slowly decreasing in my amount of cosplays. I really do thank you guys from the bottom of my heart 💖.

I have scoliosis, a curvature of the spine. At the moment, I have three major curves in my back, the largest measuring about 30 degrees. I wore a back brace for three years while continuing to pursue ballet, and I have just recently stopped wearing it.

I dance because it feels natural. Working hard in class and seeing results gives me a feeling of absolute satisfaction. I believe that I have grown many ways creatively over this past year, especially with photography. I love to try to explore new angles and poses daily to get an output that is innovative, creative and pleasing to the eye. I hope that my pictures inspire others, and show them that nothing can stop you if you have passion.”
