Stu Rutherford created a new stroby light technology that Waititi used in Thor: Ragnarok! That gorgeous bit in Valkyrie’s backstory? He and his friend Carlo van de Roer designed that lighting.

It’s out!

I illustrated for Disney’s MULAN book “Mulan’s Lunar New Year”, (you can see the book here!) a children’s book about little Mulan spending Lunar New Year with her family.

It’s my first book and I want to share some illustrations  :D [*will also have this book at my table at CTNx 2018 this year on display at T55!]

Looking back, there are lots that I want to improve on the crafting of my drawings for this book, but overall… I’m really glad I get to illustrate and to remember the joy and excitement I had celebrating Lunar New Years and lighting fireworks with my parents as a kid.

It was pretty magical.

i think the worst thing my landlord has done, besides the very illegal and unprofessional way she runs her business (evicting people at the drop of the hat, tampering with the dates on my contract to prevent me from legally moving out, literal tax evasion) is ask if i wanted to watch big bang theory with her

gay trans men do not get to be “stereotypically” or “flamboyantly” gay like cis gay men are. if a gay trans man were interested in things such as fashion, drag, shopping, or traditionally “feminine” behavior that cis gay men partook in, he would face backlash. trans men are forced to perform hypermasculinity in an attempt to prove their transness and any deviation from that is seen as them being “not really trans”. so if a gay trans man were to be effeminate or “stereotypically” gay, he would face transphobia send tweet
