Alright I’m lazy and impatient at the same time so you get my intro. Hullo I’m Andy Biersack of BVB, no I’m actually Ben, Ben Bruce. Why is it the beginning of December always feels like the twilight zone? Like you’re not quite sure where you are or what day it is but it’s winter and that Christmas is soon-ish.

Hmmm there is a few that might. But honestly I’ve done so much shit that didn’t ruin my life I feel like people would go “of course it’s Ben”

Has there every been a time in your career that you wanted to give all of it up and live a normal life?

Once or twice. There’s been times I just thought is it worth it all? I’ve been threatened on Instagram for a bunch of bullshit, then for awhile when we didn’t have a singer I went straight into panic mode and didn’t think it was worth it anymore. But then I look at the fact that well fuck, who else can say they get to go on stage and work with their best mates doing what they love in front of fans every day? I always find a way that draws me back in. It helps when your boyfriend is in the business too and travels with you.

Someone, Somewhere because it’s pretty personal for Danny but also like, “my terror twin and I” bit is about our friendship and any time we do an acoustic version during a set I get a little teary eyed because shit…we’re both still alive and I’ve still got my best friend here just literally taking over the world and doing what we love together in music.

what’s your favorite animal and why

Honestly I have too many. Dogs, bunnies, foxes, turtles. All the dudes. I’ve dogs at home and they’re like my kids, and one cat, Binx, who’s just like whatever. Bunnies because they wiggle their noses and I lose my mind.
