first snow. I woke up to pounding sleet this morning. Not expecting snowfall or weather, I slept under the stars last night at Glass Lake. The sleet soon turned to snow as I scrambled to get packed up and shoot some photos. I hiked down to Loch Vale and thought the snow had stopped. I turned around and it was back! After taking a few more pictures, I was cold and ready to head down. However, a bird came flying overhead and I wondered, did I have time to switch lenses?
