Various Illustrations
Images of me using a HTC Vive VR Headset while using Tilt Brush. This is software that allows the user to paint and sculpt in 3d virtual space. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get an image of the final product.
Model of concept for Brisbane Street Art Festival 2017.
Proposal is for an installation of an external white cube which is painted and defaced by artists from the BSAF roster. This will be film using a 360 degree camera and converted into a 360 video. When the viewer enters the space they view the current state first, then activate the video to discover the site’s original state. Its a perfect opportunity to watch the process of reclusive street artists in action.
Yonder (2016) Mural/Performance.
Installation shots of Immortal Agency (2016) Installation.
This installation continues the themes of Noir, Mystery and Crime. It is meant to recreate the office of a Private Detective. The space conveys narrative, hidden and overt, through the objects. It requires active investigation by the audience to uncover the mystery.
Note: I discovered just how hard it is to recreate a natural organic space. After a few failed attempts I tried to shift from creating a realistic space to a virtual space. This virtual space is directly related to VR Cube, a Virtual reality experience I’ve created that uses the same narrative inspiration.
Concept Sketch for Control
Installation shots of Control (2016) Installation.
This installation revolves around the issue of gun control and desensitisation of children and adults to gun culture.
Fragments 1-6 (2016) Pen and Ink. Dimensions vary.
Not All Who Wonder Are Lost (2016) Mural/Performance. 2m x 2m
Scribble Slam
Two artists paint a mural in an hour and a half. A theme is chosen for them on the night of the event with no notice. The theme for this SS was “Wonder”.
Projection Cube most recent installation.
I found this was the best location as it was protected from the wind and the light. It formed a great relationship with the space thanks to the close proximity to glass walls. These made fascinating reflections of the video.
Most recent Video media for Projection Cube.
This video continues the themes of Noir, Crime and Mystery. Its colours have been optimised for projection. This video is meant to correlate with a VR experience. Inside the viewer experiences the VR, a virtual representation of the inside of the cube. When they remove the VR headset they experience the real internal space of the cube. Then once they exit the cube they compare the external to internal, virtual to real spaces.
Video content for Projection Cube

For this formation, the viewer is inside the cube. They are immersed by visuals of nature.
Projection Cube (2016) Video Installation.
I’ve been testing this installation in various sites in the area outside the KG studios. The wind was pretty forceful in some positions, tearing the plastic screens from the frame. Other spots were bathed in light and resulted in the projections being washed out.
Concept sketch for proposal for Brisbane Street Art Festival 2017.
Test run of Graphic style illustration strips in a 360 VR format.
I’m trying to figure out whether its possible to generate a narrative experience using motion graphics combined with 360 VR
