Hello, everyone! Yesterday's job festival went off without a hitch! We are so happy to have all you working members in our humble society.

We are so excited, because today is the MATCH MAKING EVENT!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Love is in the air, and our match makers are ready to help find you the best mates possible! Of course, some of our members just aren't ready to take that step in love, and we don't force anyone, but we HEAVILY suggest you at least give it a shot.

Of course, if you are claimed, don't even bother. That should go without saying.

((OOC: Hi!!! My family and I are moving rn, so I'm gonna go ahead and pause the Mayfield Pack stuff until this weekend when I have time to write. Today is technically the Match Making festival, so I'm sad I haven't been able to put anything out, but I promise I will as soon as I can.

Today is the day! For the pack leaders, this is our favorite day of Initiation Week...The Job Fair!!!

This community is a functioning organism, and organisms all have internal systems to make them run smoothly and efficiently so they thrive. For us, those internal systems are the roles and jobs given to all capable members.

School sign ups are also today, so be sure to get your pups enrolled in our award winning education system. There will also be a party hosted at the school, so parents, don't fret about keeping track of your litter. We've got this!

The job fair can be a little overwhelming and confusing at times, so if you're curious about all the offered jobs, we've linked a list! Make sure all your paperwork is turned in by 4PM today, and make a post about your new job!

Grab your boxes and help your neighbors, because today is moving day! All of our incoming members have been given their addresses, and are now unpacking to settle in their new homes.

Call it whatever you want, but we believe that the sun is shining brighter today than any other. Family and friends from outside the pack are visiting our members today, supporting them by helping them move and unpack!

We've even gotten the pleasure of accepting some of them as our own. We accept all! ❤️

Today, we lost two pack members. Losing members right before initiation week is never something we want, but sometimes people just don't know what's good for them. Cosmo and Ginger.

While we wish they had stayed to see all we could do for them, we couldn't force anyone who wasn't ready. Joining the pack should always be a choice. 😔

Unfortunately, the one who forced them is being put under investigation, and will be doing 80 work days without pay to compensate for the wasted resources. Let this serve as a PSA.

The pack is not responsible for your family issues. That is something that should be dealt with before applying. We do not appreciate having our time wasted. Thank you to all who apply with care! 🤗

What if someone very clearly was forced to join your pack against their will?

That would be awful! If you sign someone up for the pack against their will, any ramifications of them leaving will fall on you. Especially if they are grown.

We have a 40 day policy, meaning that if you join, you have to stay for 40 work days (not including Initiation Week or holidays) before you can leave. This means that all the money you would make from your job goes to the pack for that 40 days, so you can pay us back for the resources we spent on you.

Not doing this is a breach of contract, and will be met with legal action. We put a LOT of money and time into every single member of the pack, and leaving will put you in debt.

In the case that someone forces someone else, the one who forced the person is responsible for completing that 40 days debt. Not the victim.

We will personally transport the victim to their desired location. If it was not their choice, they clearly didn't know the policy before hand, and will not have to stay. That would be completely unfair, and illegal.

what about those who dont want a relationship in your pack?

We really really encourage our adult members to at least attempt dating at any of our match making events, but if any are nervous or uncomfortable meeting new people, we can't force them. Most of our members join the pack looking for a mate, so it is the norm around here, but there are no rules that say you can't be alone.

You might start feeling left out, but again, we can't force anyone. We just highly recommend it. If you are uncomfortable with meeting people on your own, you can always sign up with a match maker who will review your file and set you up with someone they think would match your desires.

But if you truly just want to remain single, this community might be hard to adjust to, but people have figured it out before! We accept all! ❤️

I personally don't do it, and neither does anyone in my family, but it's not something I think is bad. I just think it smells bad and I don't want it around children. But if you're an adult, you can do whatever you want. ❤️

That's an amazing question! While it all depends on who you are, here is...

6 Ways To Know An Alpha Is Right For You!

How Do You See Them? — Is this Alpha attractive to you? Do you like their personality? Maybe you appreciate their career and the choices they make. If you like them as they are and don't feel like they need to change something DRASTIC about themself, they may be the one.

They'll Know How To Challenge You — A lot of times, Omegas have a tendency to be uncooperative or stubborn. An Alpha that's right for you will know how to challenge you in the right way to get you out of your comfort zone and into blissful happiness. If an Alpha is letting you stay stagnant and disobedient, they won't be good for you in the long run.

They Won't Force You To Take Suppressants/Inducers — This should be obvious, but no good Alpha would force you to mutilate your scent glands with unnatural alterations. In fact, a good alpha would encourage you to stay away from those and embrace your cycle as it comes.

They Take Charge — This goes in with trying and challenging, but if an Alpha isn't taking charge in your relationship, they may not be the one. Alphas have a natural instinct to lead and be in control. If your Alpha isn't doing that, it will leave you feeling empty and confused.

They Encourage Your Nature — The right Alpha will support you in being the Omega you're meant to be. They'll let you take care of household chores, cook meals, and relax. They won't try to force you into getting a job or being independent. The right Alpha will know that you need them.

You Want To Embrace Your Nature — Any good Alpha will make you want to be a good Omega. You'll start finding joy in washing clothes, or cooking meals, or obeying commands. You'll find that it's easy to listen and not fight back all the time.
