It took a lot to decide just one song, but finally, I decided my attachment to Words Fail (particularly live) is too strong to ignore. Before I begin gushing about how much I love Ben Platt: I want to say that I love all Evan Hansens, and what this show has become since I was lucky enough to see it in 2017! But today’s countdown prompt is gonna be a bit of a #throwbackthursdaytuesday, because I want to talk about my connection to Ben’s Evan.

i can quite honestly say the musical dear evan hansen changed my life, and ben platt’s role as evan played a huge part in that.
maybe one day i’ll articulate everything this show has done for me by finding me. but for now…

I think that this goes without saying but Ben Platt as Evan Hansen. I think he is incredible in every single role he has done, but this role and show speaks to me so much.
He truly just put himself all out there , completely vulnerable every single day and worked so incredibly hard to make sure he told us this message.
He inspires me endlessly , especially his work ethic throughout playing the Role of Evan.
Cant wait for the album!
