Comic Bunch has officially announced that the 8th volume of Kohske’s GANGSTA. and the 5th (and final) volume of GANGSTA:CURSED. EP_MARCO ADRIANO by Kamo Syuhei & Kohske will indeed see their Japanese releases on 2018 May 9! The official cover art for the two has also been revealed (we’ll post higher res versions as they become available) and Kohske tweeted the special note above to celebrate the long-awaited news. :D

Did anyone know about this? I came across it by accident…it’s not much but it looks like some left over Bandai stuff (and for some reason it doesn’t pop up when you search the site directly…)

This is definitely a golden opportunity for those who originally missed out or arrived later to the fandom to get some of the early Bandai Visual merch. The badges, Nic’s tags, and musical Benriya tote were part of larger batches of character goods that were sold exclusively through BVC’s online store for brief periods shortly after having introductory sales at Animate Girl’s Festival 2014 and AnimeJapan 2015. As the OP mentioned, they’ve been out of production for some time and have become increasingly difficult to find. Nic’s dog tags are an especially big deal because these authentic copies are nearly impossible to come across in Japan at this point. Funi’s prices are comparable to the original yen costs as well so this is great discovery to take advantage of while they still have stock! :)

The cover for the English-language version of GANGSTA:CURSED. EP_MARCO ADRIANO #1 has recently been unveiled! Viz Media will begin releasing the GANGSTA. spin-off by Kamo Syuhei on December 20th, 2016 for $12.99 RRP. The blurb for the first volume reads:

“Killing is all Spas has ever known, and he does it without doubt or remorse. Taught to believe he’s ridding the world of monsters, he sees the extermination of the Twilights as a necessary step toward making Ergastulum a safer place. Until the day when he’s forced to confront the horrifying truth that the real monster might be…him.“

Viz has also announced the second volume for preorder which is expected for release on May 16th, 2017.
