He didn’t mean to get caught up watching— or get caught at all. He liked to consider himself prime at keeping himself from getting noticed. Really– he was great at it. You don’t become one of the best thieves in your world by getting caught all the time.
Though people did catch him and knew exactly who he was, either way…
But the fight caught his attention and he dwelled a little too long, unfortunately, but the way the woman was fighting was a show all in itself. She was impressive. It almost reminded him of someone particular he knew…
There wasn’t really much Remy could do, she thought he was with them, but he was not. He just ended up getting caught in this. But before he could defend himself, dark eyes widened suddenly— she may have not seen the gun, but he did. And, well. Being who he was, he did the first thing he thought of. A card was slipped out of the sleeve of his coat, flipping it between two fingers— sure, his powers weren’t up to par, the explosions were small, unfortunately, but at the very least, a card to the face could cause some pain and distractions when it explodes.
“Watch out!” He warned her, throwing the charged up card right past her at a high speed, glowing a bright purple sort of color as it blew up in the mans face. Yes, unfortunately he was right in thinking that his powers still weren’t as they usually were, but a small explosion was something. No one got shot this way.
For a brief moment she was frozen. Red Eyes...Instantly she thought he was a Noble though he wasn’t dressed like those she had crossed paths with in the past.
Any more thoughts about who he was were pushed to the back of her mind as he drew the card. Lunark tensed, believing he had disregarded her warning and was attempting to a attack - a card may not seem to most a weapon, but then, looking at her, would many believe she wasn’t human?
Gritting her teeth in a small growl, his warning caught her completely off guard.
In that moment her eyes followed the card while inwardly cursing herself for ignoring the other men. Bullets, normally, were completely useless against her. Normally being the key word.
One thing was for sure, whatever the card was, it was no soul weapon.
The explosion, though small, was something she had not expected. It did the job however. The gun clattered to the ground and the thug seemed to be out for the count.
“Thank you.” She stated, turning towards him. She didn’t feel bad for assuming the worst of him, yet it was a relief that he appeared not to be an enemy.
“You...you’re not a noble?”
