not to suddenly get all ranson on main but it is sincerely one of my favorite ships of all time. randy is so interesting because on one hand he’s spent his entire life being walked all over and he’s very naturally submissive but he doesn’t WANT to be. he doesn’t LIKE being walked all over he doesn’t LIKE being naturally submissive. and on the other hand randy is terrified of feeling anything other than apathy and has such tightly wound self control and repression and letting benson be in charge was such a RELIEF for him. he’s so calculated in his actions that letting someone else be completely in charge of him was exactly what he needed! it’s such an interesting contrast and i haven’t even mentioned how benson feels about all that.

I love when ppl make Benson MEAN. Like he's such an asshole guys!! he literally laughs when Randy trips or fumbles something out of his hands and breaks it and embarrasses himself. he kicks Randy when he's down bc he looks pretty when he cries. he screams at Randy during arguments until he's shaking in a corner and stuttering apologies through hiccups and tears. make Benson meaner 2025 let's get it team
