I have #ADHD as my diagnosis. I can only speak for myself, other people with the same diagnose can also only speak for themselves. About me: When I watch this kind of sparkle-video (I make them myself) it can really soothe and "draw me in" in a way I sometimes feel I need. The comfort of candy, glittering things, warmth, water on my skin, hugs, pasta... All of those can take the edge of the unease that I feel due to a tired/exhausted state of mind. When I'm unmedicated it really makes me anxious when others expect me to keep track of time, a very basic part of being an adult. My medication, that I keep to a "minimum", is a game changer. I remain myself, I still care for the Dame things and the same people, but I'm no longer tired. 5 minutes ARE 5 minutes instead of two or for our eight hours. I don't binge eat anymore, to sooth fear of abandonment issues, I can talk and explain and heal. I don't "care" about sparkles. Not to the extent that I lay in bed with the glitter an inch away from my face, watching it all mesmerized, at least :3 I take my medicine every 3 hours. Art the end on those three hours I always start to crave sugar and sparkles, and I feel increasingly empty an like someone else think that I'm worthless. When my derivative of amphetamine brings me out of that sad, nervous slumber I'm OK again. I can give and take love, give and take critique, I feel the future ahead of me, I am able to deal with the world. I also enjoy (!!!!) jogging. I'm not ecstatic or in a rush of feeling amazing, it's not that kind of thing. I'm just allright. I'm awake. Thanks to my medicine. It isn't for everyone. It isn't everyone that can find the right medicine, or afford it, or use it without fear of others judging them. All I know it's that I feel good. I've gotten a job. I'm learning, sharing, I'm proud. I never really was that. I pretended to be proud. I was mostly scared, desperate to laugh, desperate to connect and fill my insecurities with confirmation from others. When people told me they loved me it didn't really go through, it didn't make as deep an impact on my mind as it deserved to make. I hope you people take care of yourselves. 💕 #Beo #adhd
