Silco still dresses well (he’s a business owner!) , black slacks and a crisp button down. But when he rolls up his sleeves to get to work, you can see the ornate tat sleeves running up from his wrists. He’s famous in the city for the quality of his work, along with the other artist in his shop, Sevika. Silco also offers a program to cover up old prison and gang tattoos for reduced cost, he knows how hard it is to be an ex-con.
Vander discovered his love for gardening when his therapist recommended it to help him deal with his anger management. It’s a very…healing experience to use the massive hands that used to hurt people for money to gently coax growth from tiny seeds. Making something beautiful and clean instead of breaking bones and spilling blood.
Queue months of Modern AU drama, maybe they have to join forces against the Piltover City Council who wants to rezone their area, demolish the stores to turn it into fancy high rise apartments.
Vi wants to follow in Vander’s footsteps and become a boxer while Jinx gets kicked out of high school (graphic art of bomb threats doesn’t fly for the art show.) She KEEPS hanging around Silco’s shop, begging for an apprenticeship, and he eventually relents half just to annoy Vander.
When Silco and Vander eventually start to reconcile, there will be a tender scene of Silco touching up Vander’s old tattoos (Silco can’t help but stare at all the exposed skin of his muscled back, Vander might be older but he’s still got it) OR maybe covering up an old one from his Hound days that doesn’t spark joy. Maybe with a flower piece or a dedication to the kids?
