Look, I get that people need help, I'm not blind to that. But, spamming inboxes begging for donations is not the way to go about it. Especially bc you don't know the situation that person is in. I would love to donate money, thousands, to families in Gaza and families affected by ice, and other families in need. But I am not in a position to do that, I have been barely surviving for the past year, unable to pay rent, unable to feed myself, unable to feed my animals and still be financially secure. As it is, I've had to accept help from family, like my mom sending me money for food at one point and my sister paying for my glasses. I can barely survive on the $15 an hour I make with only 20-30 hours a week if I'm lucky. I cannot help, much as I would love to, with every fiber in my being. But I also need to survive, my family needs me to survive. I cannot sacrifice my survival. There are people out there who can and will help, and I hope that they find you and help you.
