No but like when Eddie cut his wire down the well they told Buck he couldn’t go after him because they’d have ‘two cut wires’. You know how INSANE it is that they canonically acknowledged that Buck and Eddie would not only endanger themselves for the other (which we already knew) but they would endanger themselves TOGETHER which means they both would have possibly died together when the well collapsed.

the thing about writing Eddie Diaz's pov is that man knows and doesn't know everything about himself. he represses himself from himself. when he realizes he's in love with Buck he's like "why am I gasping I already knew that" but he also didn't know it, you know? same thing with his sexuality. he's so very self aware that he knows there is something there, but he won't look at it directly, let alone acknowledge it. he's got three degrees of separation from his very self, and it's an interesting psyche to look at
