@cherry-blitz I made a baby fever comic, I couldn’t contain it. Took some creative liberty with Vance’s eyes cuz I don’t remember if I’ve seen what his eyes look like but now they are red and blue just like his parents. (Also Vance definitely thought of doing a rugrats and trying to return the baby to the hospital. It didn’t work.)

Talks in the bayou

I like to think that before the fallout, Alastor would bring Vox to his bayou every now and then to just talk, about anything. The rare moments when he allows himself to be vulnerable and lets himself encourage Vox on his rise to becoming an overlord.

Vincent has an unnecessary fight with a drunken demon who insults Alastor as a weak pathetic Overlord for getting emotionally attached to a human. Although Vincent loses badly and Alastor reproaches him for his foolish action and for getting hurt too often (Vincent frequently insists on helping Alastor with dangerous tasks such as spying on other Overlords, collecting rare spell ingredients or stealing human artefacts like music records as gifts, hunting for food for him — deer or other demons etc.) — they both secretly enjoy the moment of closeness, especially when Alastor washes and bandages up Vincent’s wounds.

This is perhaps a stage in their relationship where both crave each other’s comfort and touch but are too afraid to express those feelings out of fear of rejection, maybe subconsciously Vincent is glad when he gets hurt and when Alastor is particularly gentle and protective with him. Eventually Al notices this unhealthy pattern and they have a talk. In my AU Alastor is mostly asexual but enjoys affection like sleeping next to each other, spooning, holding each other close, sometimes they do more perhaps, will leave it to your interpretation!

Lucifer taking Alastor on a day(drinking) trip to Gluttony! I feel like this would be one of their mutual favorite Rings! Yellow light and lots of yellow in a palette was a learning curve but a delightful challenge! And drawing vine-snake and poppet antics was SO fun!
