Now that we’re reappreciating RTD’s era I feel compelled to say that Rose Tyler was actually a well-written character with incredibly human flaws, who was clearly and unapologetically working class, who cared about her family but also wanted to build a life of her own and strive and experience everything the world has to offer, who was silly and clever and compassionate and proactive and always listened to those without a voice, who worked on her own for years and took the same risks and responsibilities as the Doctor… anyway I don’t know where I was going with this but it’s just that sometimes people are too mean to her character
