Hey itâs ok iâm here for you. Letâs talk really quickly about it.
Why did you binge? Is there something going on thatâs stressing you out or making you sad?
Oh you think the food made you binge, you think you lost control and failed?
Sweet thing thatâs not true at all. Your binge didnât mean you failed, it just means your body really wants food right now. It has nothing to do with your willpower, and it wasnât your fault. Usually when you binge itâs because your stressed or itâs because you didnât act on your previous hunger cues. Itâs a reflex of your body, just like sneezing or hiccuping.
Now that your binge is over, how do you feel?
Oh you want to purg3?
Honey itâs ok. Letâs not purg3 right now, i donât want you hurting yourself because you binged. Purg1ng after binging doesnât make what your feeling go away. Itâs just adding a negative on top of a negative.
So youâre wondering what to do now, youâre not sure what to do after a binge if your not purging?
Ok letâs take a deep breath. First off i want to let you know everything is going to be ok. You ate food, you didnât murder an orphan.
Second letâs identify what we are feeling, anger, stress, sadness, anxiety, whatever it is. Now that we have identified it letâs set a time and feel it for two minutes. Cry, scream, whatever, letâs really feel it.
Ok now that we have felt it letâs set it aside for a minute. Letâs drink a glass of water and drink it slowly.
Now letâs try to relax ourselves. Wether itâs reading a book you like, watching your favorite youtube, or rewatching a show you like (pls no tiktok though, it can be so toxic).
Take that time to yourself, and now cary on with your day. Youâre going to be ok â¤ď¸, and please donât let thing affect what you eat later.
Make a little notebook to write your c4l0ries in before every meal and decorate it because it takes longer than just quickly writing c4ls in your notes app.
It will teach you to be patient before e4t1ng and will motivate you to do something else. ŕšŕŁâ. Ýâ âš
