Decided to archive this blog. I still want to do some writing, but I’ve move over to a sideblog ( same URL) instead. Just wanted to have a fresh start, but I’ll leave this blog up of course. ♡
Oof. Been feeling uninspired lately, but I’m sure I’ll start writing here again eventually. <3
Can we have headcanons Josuke and Kakyoin motivating their s/o study? I really need to study, but sometimes my lack of confidence and motivation is really low.
Studying Motivation
Josuke
💛 You need motivation to study? Oh crap, he thought you were going to be the one to motivate him!
💛 Josuke starts out strong with studying - he tries to get everything he thinks the two of you will need. Some water, snacks, and of course some good music. Josuke tries to keep the music low and stick to songs without lyrics, but at the same time he can’t help but want to listen to some Prince or some other good 80s songs... but then again that ends up getting distracting too.
💛 He’s the one to encourage breaks! Josuke tries to set goals for the two of you... Even studying at least 10-15 minutes at a time and then taking 5 breaks inbetween seems good enough! Anything that will keep you two motivated without burning out.
💛 He definitely likes to use flashcards, especially if he’s the one who gets to test you on them. He tries to make it fun and use little tricks to help you remember things. He’s definitely the type to relate facts you need to remember to things that you like or something that would be easier for you to remember.
💛 Josuke also will definitely try to make up lyrics to songs to help you remember things better too! Just always know Josuke is always going to be your biggest fan and always wants you to succeed!
Kakyoin
🍒 Kakyoin feels the best way to keep you motivated is to stay in a quiet environment. The places he thinks works best is the library, but if you want more of an outdoor setting he finds the park to be an acceptable place too (as long as too many other people aren’t around).
🍒 At times Kakyoin catches you glancing in his direction, and while he finds it cute he always playfully “scolds” you and tells you to focus on studying or else he isn’t going to give you anymore kisses (He’s just teasing you of course) but Kakyoin finds that ‘kisses’ are a good motivator to help you study.
🍒 If Kakyoin is not familiar with the subject you’re learning, he tries to get more familiarized with it too so it feels more like he’s studying alongside you. He’s always interested in learning new things so he never minds taking time to learn what you’re learning so he can understand and help you better with it!
🍒 Kakyoin never wants you to feel discouraged when it comes to studying! He notices when you’re frustrated with something and does his best to help you understand, but if you’re still frustrated he does suggest taking a break. He also uses plenty of words of affirmation to remind you how proud he is of you for doing so well!
🍒 When he sees that you’re close to giving up though after a long day of studying, that’s when he’s going to start cheering you on. He believes in you and wants you to believe in yourself too!

Josuke with a Shy S/O
💛 Josuke was definitely the one to approach his shy s/o first! At first he was a bit worried that maybe he came off a bit strong and intimidating. His intentions were just to be warm and friendly, but he soon understood how being so outgoing could be tiring for someone who is shy!
💛 Before he started dating his shy s/o, he wondered if maybe he should back off just a little bit to not be as overwhelming or exhausting to them! He started looking for non-verbal cues to initiate conversation with them. Usually when they looked in his direction, Josuke took this as a sign to approach.
💛 At first his approach involves Josuke talking in a bit quieter voice than usual, he was always worried that maybe his enthusiasm would make him talk louder. He most definitely doesn’t let Okuyasu around his shy s/o as much too until he can get Okuyasu to use his “inside voice”.
💛 Josuke was the one to confess to his shy s/o first but he knew that they liked him too. He decided the best way to go about this would to leave a note in their locker. At first he thought he’d do a grand gesture to ask them out but knew that was out of the question when he saw how shy they are!
💛 Josuke being more outgoing than his shy s/o works out well since Josuke is the one who will do all of the interaction for them when they go out to restaurants or any other public places that require interaction.
💛 He finds it very cute when his shy s/o clings to him especially when they are in a big group of people. Josuke doesn’t mind it whether it’s hand-holding or just having them link arms with him. He’s always very protective of his s/o and never wants them to feel uncomfortable in any way!
💛 Side note: Tomoko absolutely adores Josuke’s shy s/o, she finds it super sweet how well the two of them make such an adorable couple. She definitely approves!
Can we have 1 with Polnareff?

Today was one of those days where the weight of the world just felt like it was too much. You’ve constantly been told those better days are going to come, yet you’ve been left wondering when that will be. As much as you’ve tried to have a positive outlook, it was becoming more difficult with the way your days have been going lately. You didn’t want to worry anyone else about it though - it would be much easier to just keep these feelings to yourself. There was no need for you to worry others with the way you have been feeling... Or at least that’s what you thought.
Polnareff always noticed when there was a slight change in your mood. Polnareff noticed the way you’ve been smiling less, not wanting to spend time with him, and the way you’ve constantly told him he had no reason to worry about you which only made him even more concerned for your well being. At first he wanted to respect your space, but he could see no improvements in your mood and decided it was time to have a talk about what was going on with you.
“Mon Amour! Do not fret, your knight has arrived to bring you some happiness!”
Naturally Polnareff’s voice was filled with enthusiasm hoping to get you to smile, but he was surprised when he saw you didn’t seem to give him the reaction he had been expecting.
“Oh... Hi.”
You were in bed; it was difficult to want to do anything. Laying in bed all day seemed like that was all you could do really. While you were in fact happy to see Polnareff, you couldn’t bring yourself to match the enthusiasm of his greeting.
“What’s got you feeling down?”
Polnareff frowned as he sat on the edge of the bed.
Just the fact Polnareff knew you were still not at your best was enough to break down your walls. The tears suddenly began to fill your eyes - you wanted so badly to talk to Polnareff about what was on your mind, but it just felt so difficult to.
“Shhh, It’s ok. I’m here. I’ll always be here for you.”
Polnareff gently helped you to sit up and pulled you into a hug. As much as Polnareff wanted to help you through the hardships you were currently facing, he also understood that sometimes talking isn’t what was needed. Right now, he was there to hold you tightly for as long as you’d like.

You had been aware of the kind of life Risotto lived... Sort of. While you had known of his involvement in a dangerous life you so often kept it in mind Risotto was always able to handle himself, but the reality of this danger always sunk in when you saw the various scars on his body. Risotto never liked to cause you any worry, so you often decided it might be best to keep quiet and not bring up your concern. Despite not saying anything about it though, Risotto could see the look of concern on your features. As he sat down on the bed he turned to face you, lovingly extending his hand out to gently cup your cheek, “Hey. I told you, you don’t ever have to worry about me.”
“You know it’s natural for me to worry. I know you can handle yourself but I just don’t ever want you to get... too hurt.”
Or... Even worse; You were worried that one day Risotto might not come home anymore. Even if that possibility had always been there, it was something you tried not to think of often. It was easier to continue to remind yourself again and again that Risotto could handle himself... but, what if there came a time when he was up against something he wouldn’t be able to fight against? The thought alone was enough for you to lean forward and pull him into a hug.
The sudden hug caused Risotto to gently rub your back, you didn’t have to say anything more; the hug was enough for him to feel your concern.
Pulling back from the hug just a little bit allowed you to take a good look at the scars along Risotto’s chest and on his shoulders and even some that were fading away on his arms. Even if some of the scars had been faded; you decided to lean forward and gently press your lips along all of the visible scars. You knew Risotto never talked much about things that had been going on with him... Mostly because he never wanted to concern you; but you were always concerned for him.
The gesture is something Risotto is so unused to... but it feels nice to have this attention on the parts of his body he had neglected. He never thought much about his scars or how much even these scars alone could worry you so much.
“I’ll be more careful.”
Ok, ok. Gonna attempt to write... Hopefully.

Every moment with you is always a happy memory for Avdol. He always finds himself glancing in your direction and smiling to himself - he’s always wondering how he got so lucky to be with someone as wonderful as you. Avdol was always convinced that a romantic relationship wasn’t in the cards for him; but although he enjoyed tarot reading for others it seemed he was unable to see the happiness he had to look forward to in his own future. At first he wasn’t sure if it was just ‘dumb luck’ or if it had been fate - but Avdol knew better than to question his own happiness. As soon as you came into his life he knew he would never take you for granted.
In lulls in your conversations you so often caught Avdol looking your way and smiling to himself. At first it seemed to be a subtle smile, but over time you noticed just how much wider his smile came to be. At first it seemed like maybe he was laughing at some kind of secret joke he wouldn’t share with you, but it wasn’t until his eyes met with yours and he gently cupped your cheeks that you decided to ask him a question when that smile appeared once more.
“Why do you always just smile to yourself? Is there some joke you keep laughing at that I’m not aware of?” you seemed to be smiling a bit to yourself too now. His smile was always so contagious.
Avdol shook his head at your question.
“I’m just happy because I get to share so many sweet moments with you. I smile because I feel incredibly lucky to live every day with you.”
