i love joseph because he’s so completely and utterly human. he feels every last bit emotion he possibly can, which made him a perfect candidate for ruvik to mess with. ever ounce of him feels something, whether its pain, happiness, disgust, sadness. everything. he feels it wholly and completely, if that makes any sense.

eyes flicker ‘round the crime scene, detectives and officers play scavenger hunt, chain of custody list for bags of evidence grow longer with every second.  ❝ initial thoughts? well ... ❞  there is disgust mixed into his sadness ----- this crime scene, the blood splatters so blatantly visible, the room in a disarray ... there was a struggle before there was death. he shifts, taking out a notebook. ❝ ... the victim suffered. ❞ he sighs. ❝ let’s go take a look at what the other officers found before we start making any assumptions. ❞

          ❛  Oh please! It’s no big deal hun~ Keep me as long as you want!  ❜ A song - bird’s trill, it was bright and smooth, thick and rich as honey. Her enthusiasm for being questioned by the police could be deemed ODD but in her day to day life this was something welcomed. A change of pace maybe, or more likely to be an excuse to not have to go back into that club and deal with a bunch sleazeballs. She could use a break! The officer stands in her fitting room while she was lounging about only half way made pretty. ❛ I’ll tell ya everything! Sit down won’t you? Get comfy- ❜

❝ oh, alright ------ ❞ kindness was, certainly, a rarity. most witnesses are far too rattled to be willing to answer an officer’s endless amounts of questions. so when he finds that the other wears a gentle demeanor, his tone shifts only slightly. ❝ right, then, i’d like to start asking you about what you saw the other night. ❞ typically, bar fights and all things akin to it are dealt with by other detectives, lesser in rank  -------  but he couldn’t bear staying at his desk any longer. field work would do him some good, if only to get away from the dull insides of the precinct.

i honestly hated how the game treated joseph. like???? he gets shot several times, everyone makes him feel that he’s a damn liability, a burden. and then they tell us he’s alive but dont explain how. dont treat him fairly. i  have all the love for this one man, so much love for joseph that the creators did not give him.
