I want natural healthy and shiny looking skin, do you perhaps have some advice? xx
I can’t recommend specific products because I don’t know your skin type but drink water, research the best products for your skin, remember to take makeup off before bed, and sunscreen!!
Hi what is a good facial sunscreen to use daily i live in Arizona so it is very hot here, but i also break out easily and have oily skin and i notice sun screens make me break out like crazy and add so much oil to my skin pls help! :)
Neutrogena dry touch sunscreen! It’s my favorite at the moment
Hi! Is The Ordinary a good brand? I’ve been thinking about trying some of their stuff especially their serums
I like them a lot! Most products are good and reasonably priced!
Remember to clean your makeup brushes consistently! And clean them ASAP after particularly bad breakouts!

Hi I basically live at glossier (and saw my friend 🌸)
Tfw you get your skincare order in the mail
Was looking through some of my old posts, didn’t realize how much my hands look like claws in this picture I’m crying
Hi. I've been using the Pacifica kale cleanser for a week now, and I think it combined with the AC always being on high and the air outside being 40/30° is drying my skin out majorly. I always moisturize with safflower oil and cetaphil at night and in the morning, and recently I've added shea butter to try and hydrate my skin more, and it's not working. Thoughts would be appreciated 💙 ur blog.
Switch to a creamy cleanser. It will cleanse your skin without drying it out! Gel cleansers like the Pacifica kale cleanser are better suited for normal to oily skin.
hey! i was wondering if acne creams would be applied before or after moisterizer
After! Moisturizer is usually always last (aside from the daytime, then sunscreen is last).
Is it bad to use skin care products and makeup that expired? If so, what would happen if you do so?
Most products won’t be horrible for your skin if they’re expired, but after the expiration date the products loose a lot of their efficacy, so there’s not really a point in using it. Products can also separate/mold after expired, which might end up giving you an adverse reaction or irritate your skin.
As far as makeup goes though, to be completely honestly I only really follow expiration dates of liquid makeup. Things like pressed powders and eye shadows I keep forever (even though I probably shouldn’t).

how to avoid touching ur face/thinking about ur pimples/acne?
Just keep thinking about how much your skin will improve if you stop touching it!!
When my acne was really bad and I found myself touching my face subconsciously, I would tell myself “stop” out loud so my brain would register it better. I’m not a psychologist but I know habits are hard to break so for me, adding in a verbal factor really helped!Â
As far as thinking about your acne goes, I know it’s really hard not to think about and it can be embarrassing when you’re breaking out, but to be completely honest, no one is really paying attention to us as much as we think. There have been so many times with my friends when we talk about skin and I talk about when my acne was bad, they always tell me that it wasn’t as noticeable as I made it out to be! I know it’s hard, but acne doesn’t make or break your beauty, you can still serve looks my friend.Â
Hey ;) I was wondering, are spin brushes bad for your skin ? I've seen a video and the girl was saying that it damages your skin. I bought one abour 4 months ago and have noticed less acne since... did I make a mistake buying it?
I don’t have anything against spin brushes necessarily, in fact, I think they are great when used correctly. A couple of things to keep in mind when you want to add a facial brush into your routine:
Make sure you’re buying the spin brushes that are made for cleansing (a lot of the ones specifically for exfoliation are very harsh on your skin), you want the actual brush to be pretty soft so it doesn’t cause irritation.Â
Make sure you’re cleaning it properly after EVERY use (warm water and baby shampoo work fine, you just don’t want any left over bacteria or makeup just sitting there after you use it).
And finally, depending on your skin type make sure you’re not using it too frequently (normally to oily skin types can pretty much use it daily, as long as the brush isn’t too harsh, whereas sensitive skin I would only recommend once or twice a week).
