The Sherpa 100AC has its name due to its nearly 100Wh of battery capacity as well as its single AC port, which is capable of running at up to 100W (150W surge).
This #powerbank is on the larger end of the spectrum counting both its battery capacity and dimensions. It is easily portable and can fit into most bags/backpacks. This is a big advantage of a power bank when compared to a solar generator.
My previous battery backup system was a Yeti 200X, which was also from #goalzero. It had a larger battery, but it was also in a cube-shape and was not easily able to fit into my backpack.
The Sherpa 100AC is unique to other power banks for a few reasons. First off, it has an OLED display screen that informs you of all the power and current coming into and out of the system. It also features an AC port, which is not common amongst the majority of power banks. Lastly, it has a Qi wireless charging pad, which is relatively new to the world of charging.
