Earlier this month Konner made AI content with some of my older characters, (Magloo, Lady-Saw, etc) When me and a few others confronted him, sharing our discomfort and the detrimental affects AI is having on the world, he apologized. Only to then post more AI videos with my characters to what only can be assumed to be some kind of downward spiral? Not only that, but he claimed to another person that he created the images that were being put into the ai algorithm. Which is obviously wrong.
I blocked him on instagram and ignored him. He eventually took down all the videos and issued an apology that was… really bad to say the least. He said that he’ll only use AI if I gave him special permission.” Basically, he took nothing away from what I was telling him and is just completely hellbent on using my characters. He wants to make me “widely known to the greater public??” Ok bro.
For context: “Dr. Priest” is my good friend, Dr. Pester. Video is sped up because the original was pretty big.
Anyways, Now he’s creating accounts on here and Bluesky so he interact with my content despite my obvious wishes for him not to. Not only that, but he’s actively following friends of mine which is genuinely really creepy!
Konner’s actions have been nothing but deeply parasocial, I’m getting vibes that he might be on the spectrum and has developed some kind of hyperfixation with me and my characters since 2022 (He stated in one of his videos). However, this does not give him the excuse to behave like this. I feel like you have to eventually take the hint that maybe I don’t want anything to do with you! Even before this he would constantly egg me on to bring back old characters when I was so clearly interested on working on other things. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, I’m not some content machine to continuously produce for you! I create for myself and only myself.
If any of his accounts follow you on instagram, tumblr, and or Bluesky, just block him and don’t interact! My online pages are a safe space for me and I don’t need any freaks who barely know me to barge into it uninvited.
And before I forget. Konner, if you’re somehow reading this and haven’t taken any of my hints. I don’t want you around any of my spaces, I don’t want you using my characters for anything, and no I don’t forgive you. Leave me alone, good riddance!
