Headcannon: Ghostbear sometimes calls MeatSweats his "chuleta de cerdo jugosa", and Meatsweats has no clue what it means, but he finds it very hot

I don't know Spanish so I had to use the help of Google translate, but oh my god.

He totally would. I like the idea that he refers to him as different foods in Spanish. MS is clueless but he thinks GB is just being cute so he just goes with it.

Olay but imagine Ghostbear trying to confess how he feels to Meatsweats, but every time he gets anxious and accidentally speaking in his native tongue and Meatsweats has no clue what the fuck hes talking about

GB tries so hard to tell him, but he starts stuttering over his words before switching over to rapidly speaking in Spanish. MS is the one that has to make him stop and tell him he doesn't understand him and asks him to repeat himself. But at that point GB sighs and decides he's not ready and just shrugs is off, despite MS confusion.

The idea that Meatsweats has abandonment issues is so damn good, expacallh considering he did basically loose everyone after his mutation. His fans, any family he may have had, everything. It makes sence that hed be scared to loose someone

Ah, the headcanon of abandonment issues I got from my friend Doony over on twitter! Doony has a bit more of a different idea from where he got his abandonment issues, but everything you mentioned definitely would not help at all! Probably make it worse, honestly.

How do you think Meatsweats and Ghostbear realized they actually had feelings for eachother? Was it just kinda a sudden realization? Or was there always a sort of feeling of affection lingering in the back of their minds?

Depends on what way you look at it.

If they only met after mutation then it's probably just hit them one day. It doesn't really get talked about for a while til long after Ghostbear moved himself into Meatsweats house boat.

But- going based on the idea that they knew each other pre-mutation (my favorite is they knew each other pre-career) they enjoy each others company and love to hang out together. But their careers made them drift. When they get to see each other again it's like seeing a long lost friend. They connect and talk about what they've been through. They end up spending a lot more time together and its Ghostbear that realizes how he feels first. GB tries to let on hints to see how MS feels, but the chef is really oblivious. It takes GB pulling him into a kiss for him to realize anything.
