I decided to write some of my own headcanons because I have a lot of them floating around in my head so here goes...
Sugar & Brittana Head Canons
Brittany & Sugar become friends the summer before Purple Piano Project - they meet at dance camp
Brittany loves Sugar’s tell-it-like-it-is personality so when she first meets her she tells her right away that they are gonna be best friends
They create a secret “Girl Power” handshake at camp bc girls are superior and the world needs more girl power
Sugar and Brittany plan for her to audition for glee club and it’s a sort of inside joke between them bc they would always do “bad performances” for each other at camp
Sugar actually has a great voice and Brittany knows it but Sugar doesn’t want anyone else to know that yet
Sugar is pretty upset when she doesn’t make glee club even though she knows she performed terribly but she thought Mr. Schue would let her in anyways - Brittany is upset for her and doesn’t understand why Mr. Schue decided to change the rule about letting anyone join
Sugar thought glee club sounded like a lot of fun from what Brittany had told her so she decided to have Shelby start a new glee club
Sugar was part of the reason why Brittany decided to join the Troubletones with Santana - Sugar told Brittany they would have so much fun together and reminds her about “Girl Power”
Santana is jealous of Sugar at first because Brittany talks about her all the time but then she sees how happy Brittany is to have another friend who doesn’t judge her or think she’s dumb
Santana grows protective of Sugar bc she reminds her of Brittany
Santana nicknames Sugar & Brittany the “Trouble Twins” bc they are always trouble when they are together
Sugar & Brittany have their own secret language that Santana doesn’t understand but she’s pretty sure they don’t even really understand it themselves
Sugar & Brittany get extra close when Santana goes off to college and they have sleepovers every weekend
Santana asks Tina to keep an eye on them and keep her updated on how they are doing
Santana is not happy when she hears that Sugar is dating Artie bc she knows how Artie hurt Brittany so she tells Sugar to be careful
(idk I love Sugar and her & Brittana could have been the cute friendship that we needed)
