I now have nine little books full of lyrics and poems! It’s a cool things to be able to go into a writing session with these poems written down and put them out there to be looked at. I just say, ‘Here’s a few ideas. Do you think there’s something here?’ I love the freedom that comes with the whole process. (Who We Are, 2014)

A friend of mine bought me the first journal about five years ago. They’re all collections of lyrics, notes and poems. I love travelling with them now, finishing one and getting a fresh one. I take them all with me to the studio and read through everything at once. (Another Man, 2016)
