Congratulations to our October Bro of the Month Walker Bartz! Walker is king of intramurals and a champion of brotherly love.
Congratulations to our September Brother of the Month: Kirby Groome! Kirby has been doing a fantastic job as advertising chair this semester!
Rachel Basiura (pictured right) is our August Brother of the Month! Rachel is the Rush chair and has been doing a fantastic job with the process. Rachel is pictured with her little Melissa Rau.
Jordie Promislow is our April 2016 Brother of the Month! Jordie offered several service events in the last month of the semester. Congratulations Jordie!
The chapter welcomed new brothers as well as celebrated our new alumni on April 12, 2016!
Derek Devera is our Brother of the Month for January, 2016! Derek led the chapter in an egg-rolling Awards and Scholarships event in January. Congratulations Derek!
Our entire Beta Kappa chapter came together to celebrate National Founders Day and our own chapter’s Founders Day. Happy 22nd to us and 100th to Phi Sigma Pi!
PSP Brothers Meet Up in Rome
Beta Kappa brothers Ali Cooke and Denny Huynh were both in Rome, Italy for separate traveling reasons this summer, but they found time to meet up and share the experience together. We love seeing brothers taking time to connect with each other, even when they are as far away as Rome!
Peanut Field of Dreams
Another PSP brother of the Beta Kappa chapter, Martha Hudgins, spent her summer working with Clemson in the agricultural department. She spent most of her time learning how to diagnose plant diseases, and learned about the challenges of working in agriculture that Clemson is currently researching. We love that Martha is using her time to further Clemson’s research and to make the world a better place with her agricultural knowledge!
This particular photo is of a peanut field at the Edisto Clemson Research and Education Center in Blackville, SC.
PSP Brother Connection in Russia
One of our brothers, Savannah Randall, studied abroad in St. Petersburg, Russia this summer! She took intensive Russian language classes during the day, and experienced the culture first hand by night! As an added bonus, Savannah met a fellow brother, Mason Durden, from the University of Alabama!
We love seeing our PSP brothers doing such amazing things over the summer and connecting all around the world!
Field Day at Y-Beach
Members of the Beta Kappa chapter enjoyed a slightly cloudy field day filled with beach volleyball, water balloon tosses, water gun fights, and much more! This was the last event planned by the social committee; great job to this semester’s chair, Stephanie Erickson!
Induction of the Alpha Rho class of Beta Kappa chapter on April 7, 2015. Congratulations to all the new brothers!
April 4, 2015 - Beta Kappa goes whitewater rafting! We did some teambuilding and had a great time exploring the outdoors at the Nantahala Outdoor Center. It was a great final Awards and Scholarship event, and hopefully one we will repeat in the future!
Collins Closet!
March 28, 2015 - Beta Kappa Brothers set out to help our community! We went to a donation center called Collins Closet in Seneca, SC. We organized the donations as efficiently as we could (there were a LOT of books!) and then shelved them. Some of us also learned how to fold a fitted sheet. It was a great time and we were able to help someone, all thanks to our Service chair, Cody Wroblewski, and the ladies of Collins Closet!
Highway Cleanup!
March 8, 2015: Beta Kappa held its first highway cleanup of the spring semester! Brothers flawlessly modeled the fluorescent safety vests, engaged in a friendly game of "who can pick up the most reflectors/questionable glass bottles?", and stepped down some relatively steep hills, all in the name of keeping our campus clean. Our fearless leader was Service chair Cody Wroblewski.
