Ava licked her lips a little as she clutched her bag in one hand. She wasn't really sure what she was expecting, but she wasn't expecting this. Things felt different. She flared her nostrils and inhaled deeply.
"Well," she whispered softly. "Here goes nothing."
She chewed on her lower lip and began to head to her assigned room, while she looked down at her new phone. She was busy scrolling, when she bumped into someone. An involuntary growl rumbled through her, before she looked up.
"Sorry," she said, if a bit huskily.
Beth's was in her own little world as she walks down the corridor, almost forgetting that other people might need to walk by her as the witch zones out. It wasn't until she felt a jolt to her shoulder that she snaps out of it, almost ready to snap at them before noticing the familiar face. "Ava, a 'hello' would've been fine." She teases.
