Presentation for portfolio
What genres are in your portfolio? -fashion photography -landscape photography -portraiture photography I want to add wedding/occasion photography, documentary photography to my portfolio; I want to add these as I feel my documentary skills have grown. I also want to include occasion photography as I feel this is the area of photography I am most likely to go into. I wish to improve in all areas of my portfolio by developing as swapping for improved images. For this project I am considering a folder portfolio as I feel this would be the best way to show my work as the different genres can link. In my portfolio ill have 15- 20 images as I don't want to overload people with to many images at once, but I still need to have enough of a variety to show people. I would have each genre separate on an online portfolio id have around 5 genres. Each genre id have 10 to 20 photos as people would only have to look at what the want to so I can use more images. Im going to try both portfolio box and Wix for an online portfolio and only keep the one I prefer.

This is a lighting diagram of the set up I used for studio still life. With this set up I moved in close up and got full shots.
Outside flash This is a lighting diagram for a outside shot. We used a flash with a battery pack and we had the model jump from a bench onto a crash pack. I set my camera to 1/500 of a second so it would freeze the movement and had a wide aperture to allow enough light into the camera for the image to be correctly exposed.

Critique about the project
The central composition of this image make the background too busy and we cant no see the subject clearly or provably is because how it was print , may in screen it look great, the idea of the 2 hand making the shape of a heard floating in the air is really good especially because are gloves, it may be better if the gloves are floating on the sky, so the view point could be worms eye or low level, also the contras of the image and the gloves are too soft may it is because of the background shadows, for that I would like to say that the image should be taken onto the sky, the perspective line of the forest is distracting to the object too , may would you like to take the same shoot in a different location, because the lay out and the prop is great,

Alex Lewis
Alex is a 20 year old photographer. He has a very good use of DSLR and also edits some of his pictures to give and old effect.
this photo ha been lit with the lights in the building, they sat the model under a light. the aperture is small as the foreground and background are out of focus. i think the shutter would be shout as the aperture is wide. i think a tripod would have been used to ensure the photo is straight.
Annie Leibovitz
