Research Topic
For some, fame is achieved at an early age. Some of these people include Lindsay Lohan, Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake and many, many more. It is true that the industry has an immense effect on these young stars. But what exactly is that effect? And why does the industry have the effect that it does? I want to explore these questions and more in my research based paper. I think that by looking at the development of child stars throughout time, one can learn a lot about the psychology of people, particularly children and adolescence. The trajectory of the average child star’s live can demonstrate how people’s childhoods have a huge impact on who they become later in life. I predict that this topic will be an effective way to highlight the vulnerability of the child psyche to pressures (specifically the pressures of working in the entertainment industry).
