Why did Maid Marilyn get arrested?! She didn’t do anything! She even tried to warn the Archer about Batman’s plan! I guess this’ll forever be a mystery!

Then again, why does this surprise me? The writers of this comic consistently butcher the characters, especially the one off villains and their lackeys. In this case, the writers phased out Marilyn’s accent and her desire to help Batman, which were both things I liked about her (tbh, I still like her, but she’s not as great as she was on the tv show). Her costume is a downgrade too, as the designer gave her pink pants and green shoes. How does that make any sense? To be fair, it’s not the worst costume (No, that honor would have to go to characters like Millie Second, Black Widow, and Minstrel. That last one especially makes me mad!).

The real Maid Marilyn is standing here, probably thinking, “you designed and wrote me like this, bruh?”
