Friday Night Lights 🏈 (at Tiger Stadium - Bentonville High School)

Oh so thankful for some much needed Bethany&Bethany quality time!! And for flannel. Always thankful for flannel.

Monday: free drink at Starbucks, a long talk with my mom on the phone, a nice run, pretty sky before dinner, after dinner hot chocolate and French fries with Tori. We talk about life, the big and the small and all the in between. I'm thankful she is here.. Living in Bentonville.. Being present in this place for this time. We don't know what the future holds, but here we are so we are here.

Sunday: beautiful morning with fog in the valley outside my house, afternoon at Starbucks, church fall social (forgot to take pics because I was pot-lucking and talking to people) and watching Pride and Prejudice/ doing laundry before bed.

I haven't eaten at Panda Express is a long long time! It was very different from the Chinese food I became used to in China.

We waited in line for 20 minutes or longer at a crepe stand on the square for brunch. So worth the wait! It was so so delicious! I had a pesto chicken crepe. Yummerlicious! After brunch we walked and struck a couple yoga poses. It was such a lovely morning!

Thankful list: Mexican food, white queso, coffee, a new cookbook, Saturday morning yoga, farmers market, perfect weather, time with Tori, more coffee, pumpkins, blue skies :)

Post run stretching, talking, laughing, and Trader Joes chai tea latte drinking in my driveway! Time with Ang is good for my heart!

Ang came to Bentonville!!! She came for the weekend to see me! She's such a good friend! After work on Friday we got to go on a run/ walk together! The weather was perfect!!😍🍁

Freshly mowed yard and a cool reminder of truth on my way to work started Friday off right?

We had a snake in our house this week.. It was little, but a snake none the less, so mom sent me lots of ideas about how to guard against it happening again. Side note: our lawn was getting too long, our landlord usually mows our yard with a riding mower, and she hasn't had time and it's been raining a lot! So, all the church staff commented on the snake on Wednesday. I told them I had a plan to mow the yard, check around the house, and seal up any place the snakes could enter through. Today one of the ladies and her husband came over and mowed our yard. Front and back. And they edged and swept and I am overwhelmed with gratitude! They are so sweet and I'm thankful for them! It totally made my day and was such a blessing and reminder of the kindness and blessing of God's family.

I'm thankful for: -Eating meals with my church family -Bible classes with the girls and challenging each other to write scripture on our hearts -A beautiful sunset whilst playing softball and having fun tonight -And some quietness and introvert time in my clean room to recharge my batteries

This afternoon after Mom and Nana hit the road I met a couple friends at one of their homes.. We sat in the living room and drank coffee. It was lovely! I'm so thankful I have friends like Tori and Liz. Then tonight we went to the youth area wide with lots of local churches. The worship was so awesome and powerful and the message about being devoted to Jesus' teachings was great! So thankful!

"Siri, what's the score of the Baylor- TCU football game?"

I don't have cable at my house so Nana kept asking Siri the score update. She asked over 30 times in one hour.
