i stg i’m always 2 steps ahead of my therapist. every time she suggests i do something i’ve already done it. and then she’s like “wow i’ve never had a client like you before.” like yeah bish, i’ve been therapizing myself for years now and have made a lot of progress but can we do something other than talk therapy, like some kind of systematic, intentional treatment that your higher education taught you? because having you as a verbal journal is nice and all but i have childhood trauma that my brain won’t let go of and venting about my roommates then being told to meditate isn’t helping with my deep seeded ptsd and abandonment issues, thanks

update: i’ve been in cognitive processing therapy for a while now and i’m finally making progress. it’s more so geared for ptsd and isolated events of trauma than cptsd, like i have, but it’s exactly what i was craving: deep work
