So today I came across this add for a walking dead game (official) the page is even followed by the official twd account.

What do we see first ?

The add is made with ai , the game doesn’t look like that at all , but they asked ai to make a blonde girl with a ponytail, scar , helped by a doctor who looks exactly like dr.edwards for nothing ? They really are trying to make the fans think about Beth before her return

In case you haven’t seen it yet, Emily posted a TikTok 15 hours ago where she talks about a dream she had last night, and it’s WEIRD.

It’s not about TWD (but she found a way to mention twd ) but about a TV show called Summer House. Basically, in her dream, she was asked to be part of a Summer House spinoff filmed in New York.

At first, she said she was asked to be on the show, then quickly corrected herself and emphasized that it was a spinoff. She also really stressed the fact that it’s set in New York…

I can’t help but wonder which spinoff based in New York she could be hinting at, using this “dream” as a cover 👁️👄👁️

the thing that got my attention is “Bethesda” cause in episode 11x01 when they are in the subway tunnels negan says to Maggie to follow the red ligne to Bethesda and now Beth is showing up in the negan / Maggie spinoff near the bethesda fountain park , it CAN’T be a coincidence!

Seing a tweet about beth « death » from a random account with just a few followers getting 2k + likes and everyone in the comments and quotes saying how it impacted them and how it was the sadest thing in the show is so satisfying. I just know Beth haters are fuming 🥰

I love y’all but I really do just feel like they’re messing with us. It’s a ploy to bring in more viewers for season 2 of DD. The most we will get is a hallucination/dream of Beth, maybe singing one of her songs (hence EK recording her songs from TWD) and that will be it. They’re playing up the ships they know will bring in more viewership because they are desperate to milk this cash cow dry. As much as I’d like to believe it’s more.. there’s just no way there actually is. :(

I mean, let’s be real.. at this point, we are lucky that Daryl even acknowledges Beth existed, let alone how much she meant to him.

I wish it was more. I so so so badly wish it was more. But I don’t want anyone to get their hopes up so high just to see them dashed so badly. So let’s be realistic and just accept that the writers made a really bad call in season 5 and never atoned for it. (That doesn’t mean we can’t still theorize and write wonderful fics about all the what-ifs tho!!!)

It would be a PR if it was just bethyl here and there before a new season but let’s not forget ALL the evidences we got for years and I’m talking about actual evidences not the bethyl things . She either is coming back or at least she was supposed to . But there’s no doubt that she’s alive in the twd universe even if they never tell the story. Coda was not a mistake it was a plan.

@bethiscomingsoon I totally agree that it was originally planned for her to come back. The story line and all the signs point to that. But we are 10+ years past it and it hasn’t come to fruition. It was poor writing and planning all around. They shit the bed, to put it plainly. So many signs and so much foreshadowing and then they dropped the ball. I am so sorry, but let’s be realistic.. it’s too late. It’s not happening. I truly believe they had a much bigger plan and a larger outcome for Beth, but something happened and they decided to drop it and never continue it. And now.. it’s just too late. It’s not happening. Too much time has passed. Too many people have forgotten who she even was. They are gonna play up the one ship they know keeps the money coming in and that’s it. All we have left is our dreams and our fanfics and headcanons.

Well I agree that 10 years is very long but gimple said many times that he had to go through the comic book material before he get to his own stories (and Beth characters is gimple’s baby) so it make sense that she would only come back now that the comic book stuff is over . And I disagree a bit with you Beth is still a very loved character obviously she is not the center of attention for the general public since it’s been almost 10 years but maybe that’s why they are bringing her character so much lately , and also why Emily is at every convention promoting Beth character and talking about how awesome it would be if Beth was found to be living 🙃

I actually believe you. But what makes me sad and confused they said “ their friend ship” 💔 if beth came back im afraid that she will never be with daryl.

Hey So I’m not a diehard bethyler , I mean they would be cute together and there was clearly something growing between them but If they don’t end up together I wouldn’t mind as long as we get Beth back . As for what you said you shouldn’t be sad about that because when Beth « died » they were just friend even if something romantic was starting so it doesn’t bother me that they use the term « friendship » and also they can’t confirm that there was more between them until she comes back so don’t worry about it
