so you make yourself smaller.

less serious.

less visible.

as if passion was embarrassing.

just so nobody could have an opinion on you. just so you could stay safe. you kept shrinking yourself to avoid looking ridiculous.

but when you finally zoom out, you realise you never looked ridiculous at all. you just cared deeply

i think you owe yourself more honesty than embarrassment.
