In class today it was almost the last straw. Not only am I dealing with Mona and her bullying both here and home but now Clare is back at it. All through out class she was whispering about me and throwing paper balls at my head. Soon as the bell rung I was out of there.

This girl is that one nerve that is always picking at me constantly. Her hatred for me is clear self influenced whatever it is about herself she needs to help for. I’ve just about had it and can just feel my breaking point approaching.

At my locker I kept my breathing slow to keep myself from crying. Sometimes I hate how emotional I can get but I’d rather cry it out than bottle it all up and become a bitter hunchback….like Clare.

“Hey crack baby guess what got leaked to the school. I never knew you could belly dance.”

No no no no please god no! I kept my head down biting my lip while her and some random girls egged and taunt me to dance for them.

“Leave her alone!” I jumped at the deep voice. A hand came onto my hip. “It takes a real jealous batch of hoes to pile up on one person. You ok pookie?”

“No.” I whispered. He kissed my head closing my locker. “Come on I’ll walk you to lunch.”

Knocking I wait before twisting the nob. “Stanley…you ok baby?”

She looks up from a book taking off her headphones. “Yeah I just ignore her now.”

Sitting I sigh. The fact that my two oldest are having some kind of disagreement hurts me. Am I not doing something right as a parent?

“What’s going on with you two?”

She sighed setting her things aside. “I’m trying to look out for her but for some reason she thinks I’m taking over her life or something. Her words cut deep and it’s getting really hard to keep my sanity and be the bigger person.” Her eyes tear up.

“What started all of this?”

“Just a uh…disagreement on a topic.”

“Something to do with school or a boy maybe?”

“Something like that but I can’t say I don’t want to betray her like she already thinks I do. Just because she’s being mean and what not doesn’t mean I have to send that same vibe back but I know this will come to a end soon.”

I always thought I was the parent my kids would come to and just talk. Uh these teenage years are killing me already and they just entered it. Figuring being in the house right now isn’t gonna have her opening up. Since I need to make a quick run I asked Stanley to come with me. As I drove I noticed her tense body language.

Mona is a very spoiled girl…had been since she was born. Chris and I tried our best to raise her to be basically what she isn’t right now. The last thing I wanted is her to be this cold hearted person but a parent can only do so much. At a certain age the child starts to make decisions on their own and eventually learn important life lessons.

After my talk with Carlton I feel like I could take some of my own advice. Camila and I are in a good place but I feel left out my kids lives. Hell I don’t even know if any of them are passing or failing classes. Well I know Stanley is good she our little genius. I sat tellin my best friend what to do giving him personally advice and I’m only doing half the shit I said. That needs to be fixed.

Pulling up to the elementary school locking my car I walk up into the building. As I knock on the front desk the older rep jumped a little. “Oh you scared me.”

“Thank you Mr.Washington. What can I do for you?”

“First you can just call me Chris and second call my son for early dismissal.”

Grabbing the needed papers she came back. “So what’s getting him out hopefully something important.”

She giggled blushing waving me off. I sat waiting for Maurice to come down. Seeing me he smiled ran into my arms.

Last Try(19)

“Bridget must you yell?”

In the car we rode back to the house. Max and the guys are out looking at suits and what not. We’ve been putting in a lot of work with the wedding.

It’s on August 1st at noon at this beautiful beach mansion I found. The plan is to get married on the beach the reception in the mansion. Me and max are gonna stay after for the rest of that week for a pre honey moon.

The colors are black and blue. Everyone is in charge of their own thing because I trust them. I know people may wonder since this is my second wedding will I be wearing a white dress? No I won’t but I found this beautiful Cinderella type light blue dress.

I invited Bridget to come out and be apart of the pre wedding doings. We got pass the hard part of our relationship and now can’t go a week without talking.

“Did you like the dress I sent you?”

“Yes yes it is lovey I am going to rock that thing in the sand. What made you guys do a beach wedding?”

“It’s what I always wanted. Julian dad didn’t want it so I settled but not this time Max has promised I can have whatever I want.” I smirk.

“He’s always been the type to spoil a woman. When he got his first big check he got me a car then took me out for a mother son date. It’s my favorite memory of us.”

Uh it feels so good to be back. Those kids were holding me hostage for a while. Today I’m doing a few things. First a early heels private class my favorite the one on one connection is always amazing. Most woman I get do private as a confidence booster or maybe for training.

Next some meeting with someone oversea. They are coming all the way from Korea just to meet with little ole me. I’m hoping its something where I need to go there I’ve always wanted to travel the world.

Lastly sexy daddy aka my husband and I are getting in front of the camera again. We are Atlantas number one magazine “IT” power couple of the month.

As I’m stretching Bre the receptionist and my private student walks in. She had a real shy type vibe coming from her. “First Lady someone is here for you.”

“Well I’m going through a break up…we were high school gone college sweethearts. Some time after the first semester things got weird and we became distant. He was my world but I wasn’t his.” She said following my next move. “I just want to feel beautiful and confident again. It feels like he took my heart when he left.”

I won’t up early this morning to make my family breakfast. Believe it or not I’m trying here. Having both my girls upset with me is stressful plus my own son schooling me was a bit of a wake up sign.

“And the kiss up begins.” Elias walks in. “Waffles huh good choice.”

“Have you always been this much of a smart ass?” I put Rebecca plate on the tray with the cup of coffee and bowl of sliced pears.

“Yeah but you wouldn’t know that.” He smirked pouring himself a cup of juice.

“Look I get you upset or whatever but I’m still you father don’t disrespect me boy.”

Me being away is doing more than just having my family miss me. I’m starting to feel like a step dad. When all this album stuff is over they see it all was worth it. The long hours and all!

Before I start my way to my wife and I room my princess came down.

“Your here?”

“Yeah I live here don’t I?” I pinch her cheek. Usually she would smile and blush.

“I don’t know I thought you moved into your office.” She walked by me.

“Ok you both need to cool it. I get it you don’t like me working but I bet you do like your phones and clothes and living in this house. Someone has to pay for all of that stuff it doesn’t just come for free!”

“Dad please don’t try to make us look like over spoiled kids. You gave us most of this stuff we didn’t ask for it.” Amanda says picking at her food. “If it means you won’t miss another of my shows you can have my phone and iPad….I just want my daddy back.”

The Game(15)

Well the day is here. Our first away game. Unlike how things use to be from what I’m told when games are on Friday’s they moved to Saturday. It’s not a big change but we get a little relaxing time before games instead of going from school straight to practice and then the game.

Since it’s the weekend I’m at work. I’ve been a junior mechanic for a couple years but my dad just started paying me. He’s taught me everything I know. My first car actually was one out of a junk yard that we put back together ourselves. It was good bonding for us and I learned a lot of what I know now.

I enjoy it nice pay plus I spend most weekends with my dad his girl and my sister. She’s the sweetest little thing. I call her cupcake just cause she’s small and cute.

“Miss your car is ready.” I drop the tip half of my jumpsuit over my waist. “Everything should be moving nice and smooth now if not blame my dad he taught me this stuff.”

“You are so handsome and look so much like your father.” She winked punching my cheek. “Can you take tips?”

“I’m sure I can.” I smirk.

She nods slipping something on my hand kissing my cheek. I pass her the keys and open her door.

“You mackin on the job son?” My dad grabbed my shoulders. “Cougars huh?”

Well you guys this is all finally closing in. So far my store has been reinvented with paint and what not. Now I’m moving in the furniture.

My dream is coming true like this is real shit! Being that my handsome has become oh so busy I’ve had to find help in others. My kids have been great and super supportive along with the rest of our family. I’ve even gotten some outside help to.

“Where do you want this box Rebecca?”

So yeah Ted has been hanging around. “That is for my office so in the back. Those chairs sir go right by those changing rooms.”

All that’s left is filling this place with my stuff. I’m kinda surprised how fast I’ve gotten all this done but then again I had to do something to keep my mind off any negativity. One day Carlton will come back around hopefully when he does I’ll still be his wife.

“You have blown my mind with all this everything looks incredible.” Ted comes looking around. “I’m glad I sold you this place who knows what I ex would’ve done with it.”

I was in my chemistry class working on a big project when I’m called to the main office. Of course the imitate kids oh and ah like I’m in trouble.

On the way I see Julian coming from the stair halls. As I start to call out his name a small hand grabs his.

“Hey wait up….would you show me to the gym I’m new and still learning where everything thing is.”

“Yeah sure I was headed there anyway. Julian.”

“Joan. I’ve seen you around a lot you must be pretty popular.” They walked ahead of me together.

I shouldn’t think to much into this. We know how each other feel. Then again he’s a single guy just like I’m a single girl. We’re both young still in school with the rest of our lives to worry about something like dating.

Who am I kidding my little bit of self esteem just shrieked up a bit. Rather ready or not I should’ve just made us officially. But that would just be like setting myself up for possible failure. He’s a big red target in this school. All the girls throw themselves at him constantly…I’m gonna lose him before I can even really have him.

My walk slowed down the closer I got to the main office. Eventually I did and find my dad standing.

Messing with a few buttons I nod at robin. For the last two months I’ve been working with her for the album she’s trying to put out. After I got her drake for the Work remix and that blew up she asked me to be her official producer and writer for her entire album.

Now this isn’t my first time. I’ve got a pretty fat profile between when I started and now. Right now I’m working on a sorta slow jam type song. It’s coming along but needs something. Im not sure if it’s a feature or another instrument.

“Howe as that?” She came out the booth sitting.

“Pretty good but I’m not feeling it all the way. It needs something.”

“Well whatever it is I’m sure you’ll make it work perfectly.” She smiled touching my knee.

Frowning I move back and replay what she just did. Clearing my throats I go back to messing with her vocals and the music.

“So what’s a married man with kids doing working pass ten on a Wednesday?” She smirked scooting her chair on by me.

“Just that working.” I honestly haven’t paid any mind to the time. Rebecca is gonna kill me!

“I’m surprised you wife isn’t blowing you up I know if my man let alone husband was out this late working he would be flooded with calls voice mails text emails hell I’d DM that nigga. Guess she doesn’t really care about you.” She laughs.

Holding up my phone I snap the picture quick. “Mymy why are you eating your shoe huh mama?”

She babbled something look right at me. Smiling I kiss her nose after posting the picture to my snapchat. Since both Chris and I are busy today we’re splitting up the twins. The girls and Maurice are at school and Maliki will be in day care. I’m gonna take Mylan and Chris will have Morgan. That one is a handful so I know he’ll enjoy his day. I will be with my sister and her rude as future mother in law for some kind of ladies day. Oh yeah I know all about her plans with that trick from the party. I still never got my hits in but whatever. From what I know we’re just gonna get our nails done some shopping then everyone is getting together to celebrate max and Isabel engagement.

“Camila we gotta switch kids!” Chris came in holding Morgan out. “I want her now.”

“Nah nah honey boo this is set in stone. What she do?” Pinching Morgan nose she squeals reaching for me.

“Which one?”

After the shock had died down it was like some kind of chain reaction. Mom went at her first but Max got her then aunt Cam then aunt becca even Mona tried to get at her.

“Is this bitch crazy!?” Aunt Cam was fighting to get out uncle Chris arms. “Who the hell you think you are putting hands on my brother like that!”

“This hoe clearly don’t know what kind of trouble she done started.” Aunt becca laughed taking off her earrings.

“You are so lucky right now…you should be on you knees thanking somebody cause if one of us get loose you will be dragged out in a body bag.” Mona said trying to pry my arm from her.

“No we not doing that tonight not on Max night.” Uncle Carlton said keeping his hold on aunt becca. “But uh Max who is this bi-chick?”

“A bad blast from my past. Ma you need to get her out of here right now.” He told his mom who was standing silently. She walked away without saying anything.

“No I’m not going a damn place!” Crazy started tearing up. “We were each other’s first everything how can you just push me to the back like this? You seriously proposed in front of me!?”

I hope she don’t think that’s about to make any of these ladies soften up.
