TUMBLR'S FAVORITE TWST CHARACTER 2026!

Here's a full breakdown for how this popularity contest is going to work!

I have made a spreadsheet of every single TWST character that has been revealed SO FAR (as of 5/5/26). These are our competitors.

The matches were decided by spinning a random wheel.

Ties will be decided by a rematch.

The tournament is Double-Elimination, meaning the character must lose twice to truly lose. Effectively; the winner of each poll goes into a "Winners bracket" and the loser into the "Loser's bracket". The final round will be the winner's bracket finalist v. The loser's bracket finalist. This is so that every character is properly ranked by true popularity, instead of being affected negatively or positively by the random match ups. These will be done after the the first set of winning rounds are done. Don't worry, I will provide spreadsheets for both brackets after the first round!

The polls will be published in "Rounds". These will alternate between Winners Bracket Round and Losers Bracket Round until we reach the finals.

BOTTING/SPAMMING WITH ALT ACCOUNTS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Going forward, if there is any sign of such behavior, the character(s) involved will be ELIMINATED.

If you want to raise votes for your Favorite Blorbo, I recommend making some propaganda. Write out character analysis, talk about what you love about them... accepting art/fanfic requests is also a great deal of fun, and not just allowed, but actively encouraged ♡

anyway NO 50/50 we have a WINNER and we have the DEAD. 50/50 is for COWARDS. if this gets 50/50 (and it won't I'm telling you) I'll write a 50k work of BOTH of them watching a recap of their fights and friends/family dying like it's the hunger games. this is a threat.

Okay, genuine propaganda in favor of our favorite tomato

I love Silver, I do, but we just spend so much more time with Riddle across the series. Yes, that is mainly because Riddle is the first book and Silver is the seventh, not their faults, but it does mean we get to see Riddle's character arc a lot more

While Silver is a nice guy, Riddle is someone we get to watch go from a tyrannical ruler to a genuine friend. It's heartwarming watching him try so hard to change for the better. And while I love Silver's parts in b7, especially Lilia's Dream, we just have a much deeper connection with Riddle.

Anyways, vote Riddle or Silver, they're both good options, but no matter what keep this last poll clean, fair, and only use excessive amounts of bribery to have your favorite win

okay last part I promise

his vision went blurry, his knees buckled, and before lightning bolt knew it, he'd already hit the floor.

this was it, wasn't it? this was the moment where the difference between him and precious diamond would be established, engraved in stone for the rest of the world to see. he never stood a chance, did he? not against destiny, not against fate, not against the person he trained with and looked up to. he stood no chance against precious diamond, no chance against his strength and his might and the odd looking being that stood behind him.

lightning bolt tried to get up, but it was like something was holding him in place. heavy like chains, forceful like waves, absolute like fate. he strained against the weight, trying to lift his arms and legs, but they felt numb. it felt like he was floating, far far away. away from fate, away from battles, away from precious diamond and the dastardly look on his face. empty and lifeless, a diamond with no shine and no purpose. this diamond no longer looked precious. not precious at all.

but he was still precious to lightning bolt, still his brother and rival, still the one that stuck with him through thick and thin. even if he lost everything that made him who he was, he would still be precious to lightning bolt.

he wanted to reach out and grab precious diamond's slack arm, but he roughed him up really good. he could barely feel his face. still, he tried to say something, anything, to soothe the pain that was crushing precious diamond. his face was cold, emotionless, made of hard lines and edges. this wasn't his usual aloofness, this was something even worse. saddening. deadly. lightning bolt couldn't leave him like this, he couldn't let precious diamond live with the crushing guilt.

"dia... this isn't... your fault..."

but his voice was too low, too rough.

"you're not... a pawn..."

the wind — what wind? what wind? — blew his words away. no one could hear him.

"we... I... love—"

but his voice was snatched away, his life taken in the blink of an eye. the lingering spark in him died, leaving nothing but a ground charred by electricity.

precious diamond refused to cry. he just trudged on, clutching his sword, waiting for the next opponent.

fate preened, admiring the work she had done. tore apart families, made rivals and mentors and brothers fight? this was the finest of entertainment. she couldn't risk that bolt saying anything to comfort her second champion. she still had a battle to oversee.

and she couldn't wait.

it was always then, always when he was ready to try again, to defy fate, to smile and leave. it was always then that they would change their minds and decide to fight... like fate was trying to pull him back.

he couldn't keep switching sides. he wanted to die.... but he had a destiny, an inevitable destiny, that he knew he had to fulfill. so with a shaking hand, he picked up his sword and fought.

he didn't fight like there was no tomorrow. he fought like he didn't want a tomorrow. there was no point in living, not if his only reasons to live were gone.

precious diamond tried, he tried to give the lightning bolt a chance to win, a chance to live, but there he stood before him, before a limp body, before a gaze that didn't look ready to surrender. he knew where he'd bury this one, right beside the rest.

there were no tears, no weeping, no apologies, just a pair of empty eyes. was it too late to learn how to love again?
