having dealt with depression for a while, I’ve gotten the infamous question “what’s the worst kind of sadness?” people who don’t suffer from depression might say when a loved one dies of when you fail a test but they are wrong. the worst type of sadness is when you don’t know why. when you feel like you’re getting swallowed into a dark abyss that you can’t get out of. your chest is heavy, your eyes droop & you can’t explain why. you’re just sad. so sad that you feel it in every muscle, every bone. not only is that the worst type of sadness, it’s also the most frustrating thing in the world to not know why you don’t want to live.
