Can you even hear me? Am I making any sense? When all the world is burning, Maybe ignorance is bliss.
World on Fire//BIL
I met a woman when I was younger She wore a hockey shirt, and had long brown hair down her back, love is what she lacked All the boys wanted her, but she only knew the hunger Of wanting to be loved, the skies above were never enough for her When she looked up at night trying to find some way to makes things right Not believing in god, but wanting to believe in something Some way of knowing, no way of knowing if what she did was right Blindly following the belief, that whatever happens, happens, but never truly happy She'd let it happen, again and again Until she met him She let him in, hoping to change it all All in all she thought this what she wanted But she was so used to the ways things were, Being pushed into a corner of her fear and self doubt She was strong, but never to her mind She'd scream and shout that she wanted out, but it was never the right time She thought to herself, this could different But she pushed him away before because she wasn't definite Smoking and drinking, but always hard working Drugs and alcohol were the perfect remedy But riddle me this, how do you know when you happy if you're never sober What will you have missed when it's all over When you come down, oh please come down She said, "it's not what you do, it's about the attitude." I guess she was right, she will light up that pipe, take on the day

Oh lover lay down, in my pool of tears, Hold me close, as I account for the fears, That have crippled my body for all these years. Oh lover hold my hand, as I try to stand, Metabolize and metastasize, swimming in sand, I'm a sinking ship, hopelessly searching for land. Hold my head under so I feel my lungs ache, Step on my hand so I feel my bones break, Am I alive? Am I awake? Why did you run? I'm starting to shake. Am I alive or already dead? I no longer hear your voice running through my head.

A collaborative collection of things to find But what I need is your hand in mine An artist searches for his true place Through artifacts lost and left in space To be forgotten and all alone A collaborative collection looking for a home
