Did You get ur fill of Boos this Halloween???
Life's quest
In life’s quest to fulfill ones journey it is often we end up hurting ourselves. Good intensions are misread as remarks of slight and caring is misread as pointing fingers. Somewhere in the midst of all the chaos lies a simple explanation, there is love. Yet over the petty issues that float into our lives we find ourselves losing hope, and what we once had, slowly slipping away. I find myself pulled from both ends, trying to hold what means the world to me together. Little do we understand what the power of words can do. A small string of words, can either tear a world apart or bring nations together, after all it is said, “Words are mightier than the sword”. These words have the power to lift ones soul or drag it to the depths of hell where you are left to fester like an open wound.
I have learned a thing or two in my many years. There are places where we should speak out, yet we chose to be silent and places where we have to lie low and let things come to pass. Yet we often find ourselves in reversed roles, saying things that are meant to be eaten and silent when we need to speak aloud. People who are gifted enough know when to play their parts, and they do so well. I was once told take a step back from the situation, get an aerial look of the situation and then dive in head first. I wish everyone would do the same. That way there are fewer misunderstandings. Everyone is different and they have their own way of thinking, acting and interacting- we should not go all guns blazing into judging each other. These people, including me, do the things we do because it’s connected to our pasts. We have no right to point fingers - we are all flawed; no one is God. We are our own shadow, our own conscience.
Some of us are out going, an absolute extrovert, and some just the opposite. Yet never stop being yourself just because your counterpart feels left out, it’s not your fault. If you want to be like them then change, don’t expect them to change for you. It’s hard to sit and watch worlds fall apart especially if you are a part of both worlds. I have come to realize that sometimes we have to sit on the side lines and watch the game; we can’t run around coaching the team when the players already have a coach. With this in mind I’m signing off.
Till next time.

Letters To Anonymous- the wait
Dearest A,
I am now this close to thinking you just wanted to fool around wit me that day, the last day we met. You don't understand what it felt like to finally trust someone. I went against my better judgement and silenced the voices in my head by trusting you. Please A write back to me. I need to know if you feel the same way. I still remember that day we spent together I was supposed to be at Tammy's house,I still feel you holding my hands when I'm down. I remember the smell of you as it wafted across towards me under the willow tree, the touch of your hands holding me close. Do you know I pretended to feel cold just so that I could feel you. A if you receive this letter on the 2nd of august you will find me sitting under the same tree. wearing the dress you liked so much. Remember the white dress with yellow polka dots.
I will wait for you on the promise you let me know how you feel about me.
Regards
B
Mistaken,Mistreated and alone!!!!
Lonely I sit in my room, Wondering what I did to be alone. I strayed away thats what I did, regretting the things that led me here. The wrong turns I took the paths that seemed eariser caught my eye, money and the life in the fast lane called me. Now alone I stand wanting more than anything to be with you, But I donno how to shift a track that has been laid out by me. I need my guiding star to lead me home. But now more than ever I belive I can do it, for just to be with you is my driving force. I've been hurt to many times only to make me strong. With my head held high I shall move mountains. Tear staind pillows and my only friend, Shadow leads me on, pushing me home... I'm coming home. Cause I believe.

Letters To Anonymous
Dearest Anonymous,
Well first of all this is slightly strange - two strangers getting into a stranger conversation and that to virtually ! I have heard a lot about you but in all honesty would like to get to know you better in my own way , I have heard about the term pen pal may be that’s what we can become and let’s take it from there . Hmmmm what can I say, I’m at a loss for words. I cant wait to finally hear from you.
So story time starts now !!!!! I can start by telling you a bit about myself maybe that might fill up a few lines;-P , a 24 year old who loves and lives for music, I have a passion for travelling but due to my passport being expired I’ve been subjected to travelling the world on my Google map. Other than that I love to dance, love reading and I love animals and I like getting to know strangers… just kidding ! do drop a line when ever you get the time . I think I must commend my self on being the brave one but an honest confession I feel like I’m writing a test. For I figured you might get cold feet. Anyway that’s it for now I guess,
Keep smiling ,
Beverly.
When you lost a love, but found a friend instead!!!
You rode in on your white horse and saved me from the life I was leading,
You picked me up and took me away.
Everyday you surprised me getting to know you better only made me happier.
simply holding your hand completed me, Yet there were secrets kept.
At first I didn't mind cause You said nothing was wrong I trusted you.
Slowly as the days went by you grew apart. Less contact, less love and less you.
Yet I still trusted you.
Today I sit in my room alone wondering what I did wrong...
wondering if your happy, I learnt so much yet I keep falling for the same things.
For once in my life I need a man, I need a friend and not a lover.
Cause thats something I've forgotten how to do.
I need a friend to teach me how to love.

Tug of War!!!
tug-of-war - any hard struggle between equally matched groups
conflict, struggle, battle - an open clash between two opposing groups (or individuals). There is a constant war within our heads, a battle yet to be determind. A battle which defines us moulding us in every form and virtue. It is this tug of war game that has landed me where I am today. Life's journey is about the battle. The path of right and wrong are seldom different. I no doubt I have faced my share of these on going matches, but the fact that I am here today means I must have done something right. Seldom are we given a second chance and more than often do we overlook that, that we let those moments of hope pass us by. We need to close our eyes and learn to trust our inner eyes. How many of us can say we have blindly believed in what we are doing without doubting ourselves???Every step I have taken till today we done with blind faith, Yes I failed my 8th, I thought that was the end for me. If not for my parents and family I know I would have been an introvert. Here how I learnt what it means to have blind faith.
One day during my summer holidays after my 8th std summer holidays my friend and I walked along on our street road, it had become our little habit, a way of venting our feelings, a way of bonding and off course gossiping. Little did I know my dad had asked her to come be with me. You see my father had gone to school to get my results, what he learnt there was that I had Dyslexia(a learning disability that impairs a person's fluency or comprehension accuracy in being able to read,[1] and which can manifest itself as a difficulty with phonological awareness, phonological decoding, orthographic coding, auditory short-term memory, or rapid naming.) which in other words meant I had failed. My dad reached home and told me That I had to repeat the year, Dased and confused I remembered asking if I could change my school, I was advised I couldn't as we couldn't afford to pay admission fees again. I stormed out headed for my solice "the road", follwed closest by my sister,my friend,my strength and my conscience. We walked for hours that day, I cried for what seemed like days. Silently she held my hands and said no words, for till today those are things we have learnt to communicate without. No one bothered to call us in for they knew I needed to be on my own.
Weeks passed, summer was over and the first day of school was here. We had this horrid system during our assembly where we had to sit with our classmates and at the end of the assembly get up and move to the next class. I sat there as my friends got up all happy faced and marched on to there new classes while I waited for my new classmates to come sit with me where I sat alone. That was one of the most horrid thing I've ever faced, it was for the first time I saw myself as the world saw me. The teachers looked at me with pity in there eyes. anyway the year went on, I passed with much needed help. I was now in 9th and this is were faith stepped in for the 2nd time, I was nominated for house prefect, me the reject nominated. Boy was I on cloud 9. I won and again I passed to 10th. and yet again I was nominated for house captian. I won that to, now i'm not bragging but telling you how God understands when you need a boost in your life. That year changed everything. In december we had a class out to Ooty, Teacher asked us to get permission to go with the class, I did just that but was told we couldn't afford just then. I in formed my teacher, she said that was fine and alright but what I heard was something different, I heard Get you parents to have a word to the principal, I have no idea how I heard that sentence, but I did just that. And from there on its been magic.
You see if I had failed I wouldn't have become prefect or captain, If I hadn't failed I would have gone on my trip to Ooty)after which we moved to Ooty), If I hadn't failed I wouldn't have been able to do what I which is interior Design, If I hadn't failed I wouldn't have learnt that failure IS a steeping stone to success.
Every day it is this very tug of war game we play, Chosing our own path sometime right, sometimes wrong. But trust in yourself...
