Hello!! Welcome to my blog! Some of you may recognize me from another blog I run, some of you may not. Introductions are first before rules, ofc :]

Mortis is my OC based off the Kjarr Glaive "Decay" from Monster Hunter: World. He's cold and rather distant from new people, shrugging off their questions and wonders before slowly warming up to them to reveal a sweetheart ready to punch danger in the face. While not flirty per-se, he is easily flustered and when flustered will just ignore any advances if he doesn't know said person well. (I WILL ADD HIS REFERENCE WHEN IM DONE DRAWING IT!!)

Rules time!!

Try to keep things civil! While I am fine with flirting, I am aroace and do not wish for any straight up sexual or nsfw asks (plus, at the time of writing this im a minor). If you send any suggestive or NSFW asks, I'll delete them and block you, sorry not sorry.

Do not Mary Sue! This extends into God modding. No OC is perfect with no resistances or weaknesses. Do not act as if this is the case as it ruins roleplays and makes me less inclined to talk to you

Be civil! Do not harass anyone who interacts with this blog, please! Theyre here kn their own accord and have a right to be :]

Please no brainrot terms! This includes but is not limited to: Rizz, skibidi, gyatt, sigma, etc. They make me uncomfortable and are generally annoying <3

Have fun! I will be semi selective with who I interact with as well. But I'll try to interact with everyone as best as I can, I am only one person after all

Info about Mortis:

Mortis is the personification of the Kjarr "Decay" Insect Glaive from Monster Hunter: World. Hes gone through three different owners in the past before ending up in the players hands.

Hes quiet, distant but not unkind and rather a sweetheart to anyone despite his overall aura of being cold and quiet.

He HATES Being touched. Due to past issues, he shies away and sometimes becomes violent when touched without his exact and direct consent.

THERE WILL BE HEAVY TOPICS SUCH AS PTSD, DEPRESSION, SUICIDAL THOUGHTS, AMONGST OTHER THINGS. DO BE WARNED AND PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!

"I.. Cookies? What are those?" ~☆~Mortis started, staring down at the anon with confusion before slowly plucking a cookie from their hands and taking a small bite only to pause as a shudder ran down his back and he devoured the rest, eyes now blazing~☆~

"I need 50 more. Whatever these cookies are, they're delicious.. Oh, my Sapphire Star.. You shouldn't have" ~☆~He says jokingly, smiling widely as a gold tooth glittered like the morning sun and he lets out a deep, belly laugh, a sound that was both unexpected but amusing from someone so intimidating~☆~

"My sapphire star, I do believe that I owe you now. I dont like to leave people expecting dues, after all" ~☆~He slowly, carefully, held out his hand, the rough surface slightly marred with scars and calluses. Where he got those calluses, who knows. But it was a handshake he was offering. A chance to finally touch the untouched. Even if he looked slightmy uncomfortable with the idea of touching someone again.~☆~

"We can go through them together!" :D -🏳️‍⚧️🌡

~☆~Still slightly annoyed after being touched earlier, Mortis at first doesn't register the person behind him, though when he does, his eyes soften slightly as he sees the gifts~☆~

".. More gifts..?" ~☆~He asks quietly, the golden flowers in his hair just slightly wilted but still framing his face like a crown.~☆~ "I- please.." ~☆~He starts, before pausing, biting the inside of his lip, a habit he seemed to have~☆~

"Thank you..." ~☆~He murmured before walking into the dining room and sitting down on a chair he had no idea was Chairemi. As he sat there, he dug around in a bag of his and grabbed gold bands that were untarnished, polished, and gleaming as if freshly made and placed them on the table for the new person~☆~ "I do believe that these belong to you now.. Take them, as I have no need for them any longer"

~☆~He let out a quiet chuckle, waiting for the anon to join him at the table, hair slightly covering his pale face but he didn't seem to mind, though the slight pink hue to his cheeks told a different story on how he felt about the gifts and talking with people~☆~

Jekyll flinches at the earring being clipped onto his ear, making it twitch at the new weight added to it. Then, he tilts his head and points to his head,

"The mag-maggots in my head." He says it like it should be an obvious fact before reaching into his eye socket and plucking out one of the squirmy fellas. "They're m-mean... But, th-they're just being hon-honest," he states before putting it right back where he got it. Then, he boops Mortis again and holds his face in his hands. The coyote's stare is intense while he stares the man down. "I like you," he mumbles before bonking their foreheads together.

~☆~He freezes as Jekyll booped him as his hair visibly fluffed up and his eyes seemed to sharpen to a knifes blade~☆~ "Don't touch me.."

~☆~He growled quietly, standing back up out of reach and staring at Jekyll and slowly trying to calm himself down but shook his head and quickly left before he'd snap at them, fist clenched at his side and his muscles visibly bulging.~☆~

~☆~Not even a glance backwards~☆~

Jekyll blinks a few times when the spider is given back to him. The small creature crawls up his arm, onto his face and then into his open eye socket. The coyote stares up at Mortis with his jaw hanging open like he's in pure disbelief. Someone else likes his bugs? He looks at the man's hand and then back up to his face. He blinks like a lizard before speaking again,

"The maggots say I deserved to be abandoned." He closes his mouth and stares at Mortis for a long moment... Then his looks down to rummage in his pocket before pulling out a yellow worm on a string. "I have a wo-worm in my pock-ket," he mutters while offering the trinket to Mortis.

"... Which maggots." ~☆~He spat out the word maggots like it was a sour piece of meat, his head raising and his eyes seeming to glitter with malice. He takes a step forward and looks back down at Jekyll, calming his anger and burying it before taking the worm and fiddling with it~☆~

"I apologize... I.. I tend to have a sort of explosive anger when it comes to people saying stuff about.. about that." ~☆~He murmured, his voice low and smooth like a premium honey being spread across a biscuit before clipping off one of his spiked earrings and, rather carefully, clipping it to Jekyll's ear~☆~ "If those maggots say that again, let me know little beast, okay?"

~☆~He kneeled down to their height, knees creaking quietly, but audibly before staring into their eyes and nodding, his ear missing the earring making him feel.. bald. In a way. But he had another and clipped it into his ear~☆~ "Or just stab them with that. While it is an earring, it doubles as a quick weapon"

Jekyll stares up at Mortis with a single, big eye and blinks a few times. Then, he raises his hand up and gently boops the man's nose with his claw. His tail is wagging under his cape as he stares up at the possible new friend in front of him.

"I l-like bugs," he rasps before pulling a black widow out of his pocket and holding it up to Mortis' face.

~☆~Mortis while midstep turns to face Jekyll before raising a brow and taking the black widow spider without a second thought~☆~

"A spider..? Such a small, fickle little creature.. But, so much more peaceful than the beasts like Nerscylla or Lala Barina.." ~☆~He states before gently setting the spider back in Jekyll's palm and nodding slowly~☆~

"If you do ever see one of those beasts, it'd be best to stay away. Trust me when I say this, an angry Nerscylla is not a spider you want chasing after you full speed" ~☆~He admits sheepishly before chuckling and looking away, a slight flush of embarrassment on his pale cheeks~☆~ "A- anyways.. Im rambling. I enjoy bugs as well, when they're not actively trying to hurt people."

~☆~He coughs quietly and looks down at Jekyll before looking at his own hand, seeming to debate on whether or not to pat their head but thought against it~☆~ "Now, i- is there possibly anything else you would need, little beast?"

~☆~He slowly turns around to face the anon, his eyes sharp before softening quickly as he sees the flowers.~☆~

"These... You bring me your worlds flora..?" ~☆~He started slowly, kneeling down to the anons height despite his back aching in protest and slowly takes the flowers, careful to not touch them. Even without touching them, he felt warm. Like a nostalgic drink or a warm blanket next to a fire while it snows outside~☆~

"Thank you, my sapphire star... I'll cherish these until I can no longer cherish them. Until the day I drop." ~☆~He states with a curt nod, weaving the flowers into his hair as decorations, the smell of the woods wafting through the air, now accentuated by the smell of flowers. He slowly stands up and walks off, a small, giddy smile playing across his face~☆~

Also he uses anaesthesia as a weapon to knock his enemies out!

He's pretty much the reason why Starscream was accepted by the Autobots. He's also a Decepticon that switched sides, so the bots are pretty accepting of Screamer considering their experience with Knockout

If you haven't noticed, I dont do talking to other 'dateables' as the annoying pink haired lady has said" ~☆~Mortis starts, looking away with a stoic expression and nothing more than that other than the slightest hint of annoyance at being bothered~☆~

"Now, is there a reason you're here? Or is it just to disrupt any thoughts I was having" ~☆~He sighed, his white hair ruffling slightly as he flicked his head towards the door, eyes shutting with a sigh before reopening~☆~ "Now, if you will, please leave. I do have much to think about."

*Dusty walks over with his cain and looks over at the other*

"Why hello there.."

*he leans against his cane as he speaks*-🐰🦴

~☆~ The looming figure turns his head slightly, yellow eyes flashing in the slowly rising sun from the window, glittering like the gold adorning his armor clad frame~☆~

".. And who are you..?" ~☆~ He spoke slowly, turning his body around to face Dusty, gold colored eye shadow covering deep eye bags under his almost souless eyes~☆~

"I do not believe we are acquainted, little being.." ~☆~He continues slowly, seeming rather hesitant to give his name to the new being in front of him, his jaw clenched slightly as he surveys each micro movement of Dusty's~☆~

Gonna be working on the expressions for Mortis today! So far I have just the sketches down, but I'll get them done, I swear lmaoo

In order its: Neutral, Happy, Annoyed, Angry (grrr) Laughing, Flustered, and sad/anxious....

And yes ik the horns and hair aren't consistent but its very difficult to draw consistent hair
