“For I do not exist: there exist but the thousands of mirrors that reflect me. With every acquaintance I make, the population of phantoms resembling me increases. Somewhere they live, somewhere they multiply. I alone do not exist.”
— Vladimir Nabokov
I'm really proud of my white friends for shedding the protection their whiteness gives them for a day of walking the streets with black people who have been doing this shit since they were stolen and sold to your ancestors! hope you remember this moment and how equal you felt when your poc coworker gets reprimanded for their hair/makeup choices or told to do a disproportionately amount of "cleaning" than white coworkers scrolling on their phones.
NO GODS NO MASTERS.
KNOW GODS KNOW MASTERS.
the idea that a man would be so impressed with his depth of feeling for me; spotlight me & tell me, no other woman has elicited such strong emotion from him; such otherworldly love and he'd hold his hand to his chest and shake his head of the tears brought to his eyes in relief in shock in awe... only to be met with blank eyed awkwardness because I don't feel the same.
the expectation should not be reciprocation. just because you never had those feelings doesn't mean I'm having them with you for you 🥺🙄😵

So kylie jenner stole and capitalized off the ideas and products from a black owned business “PLUGGEDNYC”. There is legitimate proof of her buying from the company, and then stabbing them in the back a month later as she stole their designs. This has happens countless times where rich culture vultures steal from underrated black businesses for profit. I hope this company sues, but for now I highly suggest ya’ll dont support kylie’s “new collection” and instead support the REAL designers and creators behind this look:
PLUGGEDNYC STOP
PLUGGEDNYC INSTA
PLUGGEDNYC TWITTER
It’s gonna be hard for this business to get their true settlements from one of the richest families in the world, but the least we can do is stop buying from rich snakes like kylie!
ALSO: kylie and khloe threatened ANOTHER company they stole from with a lawsuit if that company don’t stop accusing them of stealing. so yeah…. this family is fucking awful and ya’ll know how hard it is for designers of color to get their shit out there…. for these wealthy brats to steal their ideas and make hella money off of it is beyond fucked up.
Black designers beware!
Oh … my god
