Hello, friends. I know it’s been forever and then some since I’ve put any legitimate time into this blog, but I miss it and I’d like to change that. Reasons why the first virtual world arc is the best arc in all of Yu-Gi-Oh

Mokuba realizing he’s about to get kidnapped again and going “FUCK THAT”

Yugi being the one in control for the majority of it and actually getting to do some pretty badass stuff

MAI IS THERE, and she’s one of the heroes, and she basically is on equal footing with Kaiba, Joey and Atem/Yugi at the end there - which she NEVER is at any other point in the show

Mai rolling with the whole ‘heroes’ thing and acting chill about it, but not being all egotistical about it and generally just being the best person in this entire show for like… three episodes
