Four years ago I woke up at 5 am from distant explosions. I asked my boyfriend if he heard them too, he said he didn’t and I should go back to sleep. I tried to calm myself down, went on the internet, it was silent, no news or explanations. I told myself that those were just some weird street noises. Half an hour later I woke up again from the same noses, but louder. This time, there were news: russia launched a full scale invasion. In these 4 years I’ve felt layers of fear, hatred and sorrow I never thought were possible. The war completely changed my perception of the world and justice, it forced me to reevaluate everything in my life and everything I believed in. I’m not very good with words, so today I’ll be sharing some of my very personal artworks exploring some of the complicated feelings and experiences I had over the past 4 years. The war still goes on, in fact it has been going on since 2014 not 2022. russians still kill, rape, torture Ukrainian people, destroy our cities and do everything in their power to erase our nation from this world. I actually went ahead to look up "angelpunk" and found the promotion of the video on r/evangelion and the only 4 comments on it are from this single guy that ruthlessly rips into how poorly researched this video is in scathing, heavily worded criticism (I couldn't even fit it into a single screenshot and they definitely couldn't fit it into a single comment)

Here's the complete timeline of the graffiti battle including my latest (and probably/hopefully last) piece. I couldn't fit all images in one post, not even two actually, so here's a convenient video with all slides. After 1 day of sketching the IDF caterpillar D9, at the start of this final mural I had a huge setback. The whole thing was destroyed that same night... Instead of letting this attack hold me back I decided to incorporate the black paint drips and splashes into the piece. To be honest I was really angry at first, but this could eventually work out really well... I couldn't have done it without you guys🙏 because in order to get this extremely aggressive and intimidating look and feel of this evil machine I was looking for, these gnarly looking drips and splashes are just perfect! They really give it that angry touch, impossible to create with painting peacefully. Now this bulldozer, for me the symbol of pure destruction and oppression, is actually filled with destruction and hate itself. What a gift 🙃 What a ride! Free Palestine! 🇵🇸
