Dimanche 29 mai 2022 au musée du Louvre à Paris, un activiste a entarté le tableau de la Joconde. L'homme déguisé en vielle dame dans un fauteuil roulant a jeté un morceau de gâteau sur la Mona Lisa et a tenté de briser la vitre de protection. Il a ensuite étalé le gâteau sur la vitre et a jeté des roses tout autour de lui avant d'être maitrisé par la sécurité. L'homme de 36 ans a ensuite déclaré « Tous les artistes, pensez à la Terre. C'est pour ça que j'ai fait ça. Pensez à la planète ». Il a été admis à l'infirmerie psychiatrique de la préfecture de police de Paris

Man disguised as old lady in a wheelchair threw a piece of cake on the Mona Lisa and tried to break the protective glass. He then spread the cake on the glass and threw roses all around him before being mastered by security. The 36 year old man then said, "All artists, think about the Earth. That's why I did it. Think about the planet. " He was admitted to the psychiatric infirmary of the police headquarters in Paris
