I am wondering why my art get such few reblogs/retweets. I would appreciate reblog/retweet more than like. However, in reality, most of people only like my post and hide them from other people's eyes. I have seen a bunch of empty blogs display as a blank "like" almost all of my art pieces, but no one except for the users of those blogs can see them because they are hidden. Some people even use external media such as pinterest to archive my tumblr/twitter post, but barely (or never) reblog/retweet/like from my own account. Frankly, this is quite irritating and bothers me a lot. I have no idea why they are doing this. There is one more funny thing. I have never seen twitter art post gets zero retweet other than mine. Hysterical, eh? This speaks out loud how shitty my art is. I know it's no one's fault but mine. My art including comic is no worth sharing on their dashboard/timeline. That's the reason, obviously. However, I reached my limit so I needed to ramble crap. When I reach my next limit, I think I will just have to move on. No more whining.

sorry if this is invasive, and i know drawing is your hobby, but where did you learn to draw? also i love your style, it’s one of my favorite in the ovw fandom! your work is so great i get really excited every time i get a post notification ^^

Oh, you don’t have to worry. It’s nothing invasive. Where I learnt to draw? I read some textbooks of anatomy for absolute beginners and copied example drawings in them for practice. I also learnt how to draw black and white comics from my favourite manga artists because drawing comic requires completely different and a wider variety of skill sets than drawing or painting just one picture. It’s extremely challenging but gives me so much fun.I’m so happy to know that you love my style and enjoy my work. I’ve been working on the next chapter of the Shimada bro comic. I’ll try my best and hope you’ll like it. :)

I have never had a career in art nor learnt in art school (drawing is just my hobby) but I feel extremely happy to know that you find my art that good. I am blushing like crazy now. Thank you so much! Since my Shimada comics have to involve too many headcanon characters - aka OCs - such as Hanzo and Genji’s parents, elders, guards and other Shimada relatives, it may look much less interesting than those with canon characters, for instance, Gency, McHanzo, Genyatta and McGenji (the list goes on). It’s absolutely understandable and I don’t even expect my comics draw much attention from fandom. XDThis is why everytime I receive positive comments like yours, I am deeply encouraged. I really appreciate your supportive words. <3 They keep me motivated.

Hello! I deactivated my DA account several months ago. I thought nobody would care because I had received almost no reaction there. Tumblr is more user-friendly: easy to post, easy to edit and easy to search. More importantly, better place for posting long comics. Hi there! Thank you very much for your message! I am happy that you enjoy my ramblings on the Japanese dub and its translations. :) Are you learning Japanese? It’s the language has a simple structure compared with English but this simplicity and flexibility such as omitting subject and object, having almost no concept of tenses or rules of singular and plural will be a nightmare when you get improve. (note: It depends on what your first language is.) The same goes for any field though. The more you improve, the harder it gets. If you encounter the difficulties, that means you are consistently improving, so please don’t give up. I do wish you every success in your study! :D
