The Martini Club, "The Best Kept Secret In Town" has been around since 1980 specializing in martini cocktails. Located behind Northstar mall at 8507 Mc Cullough, suite A9, it is easy to miss but once you know it's there you're in for a good time. With different drink specials everyday the bar also has live music. With rockabilly on Wednesday's they also have live dance music on Friday's and Saturday's. They now have poker on Monday's and open mic on Tuesday's as well as karaoke Thursday's and closed on Sunday. The bar has a great atmosphere and staff and everyone always feels welcome there. It's a great place to enjoy a drink and listen to music and even have your birthday there. Make sure to check out this place sometime you won't regret it.

Avenged Sevenfold or A7X, is a post hardcore band from Huntington Beach, California. Established in 1999 the band is composed of five members, M. Shadows (vocals), Zacky Vengeance (rhythm guitar), Synyster Gates (lead guitar), Johnny Christ (bass guitar) and Brooks Wackerman (drums). They have release 7 studio albums and are still going strong. In 2009 James "The Rev" Sullivan passed away. They continued to honor him by playing with one of Sullivan's influences, Mike Portnoy of Dream theater. They now have drummer Brooks Wackerman of Bad Religion. What's awesome about A7X is how they're sound changes/evolves with each and every album. Their single "Hail to the King" charted as number 1 on the Billboard 200 in the U.K. in 2013. Me in 2016 their single"The Stage" chartered at number 4 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S. the band has always had successful albums and still continues strong with their music.

Hawx Burger Bar & Electro Lounge is definitely a go to spot whether you're from San Antonio or just passing through. "Creating and handcrafting the perfect burger" Hawx definitely delivers. Open 7 days a week Monday through Wednesday 11am-12am and Thursday through Sunday 11am-2am. With happy hour now all day you can definitely enjoy one of San Antonio's best burgers and enjoy your favorite cocktail. They have a variety of different burgers as well as chicken and "Fit Burgers." They offer shakes and appetizers as well and everything served drag always. Conveniently located at 2603 Vance Jackson rd definitely make a stop at Hawx.

This is my band Alive&Fighting. Established in 2012 we are a combination of metalcore, hardcore and melodic hardcore elements. We have a demo as well as an EP "Endeavor" and are working on a second EP "Back Home". We started off with Christian based lyrics but have progressed into more person life tribulation type lyrics. Looking for one of the best Philly cheesesteaks in town? Then look no further. Check out Maliks's Philly's Phamous located at The Rose Bush here in San Antonio. They feature a variety of different Philly cheesesteaks including Philly fries which is fries covered in cheese wiz, bacon, Philly meat, onions and ranch. Of course you can customize your order and also text ahead your order. The Rose Bush is a BYOB establishment and you can also enjoy the Spurs games on their projector as well as a Dj while sipping a cold one. They are conveniently located so be sure to check them out at some point I guarantee it's worth it.

If you haven’t been to the Pig Stand I would recommend you check it out. The restaurant is open 7am-11pm Sunday through Thursday and 7am-2am Friday and Saturday and has been open since 1921. It has and “oldies” atmosphere and in the 1930’s reached its peak with about 130 Pig Stands mostly in Texas and California. They specialize in comfort food including chicken friend steak and their famous Pig Sandwich. If you’ve never been I would suggest going on a Friday evening not only to enjoy their awesome food but also check out the local car meet. Every Friday around 7-8, hot rods of all makes and models come together to check out each other’s rides.

Another one of my favorite shows has to be "Street Outlaws." Located out of Oklahoma City, Street Outlaws are a group of underground street racers who compete to be on "The List" which is the top 10 fasted racers in OKC. To move up they challenge each other by call outs. It's a dangerous game but they know the risks. Right now Big Chief takes the number one spot on the list. Coming this Monday Big Chief is answering to a call out from Richard Rawlings of Gas Monkey Garage. Each have to build a car to compete in what they're calling a "Mega Race." Two of my favorite shows will go head to head this Monday in a race that's not to be missed.

I've always been a fan of fast cars, especially older cars. When I discovered the tv show "Fast n' Loud" I was hooked. Seeing Richard Rawlings and his team at Gas Monkey Garage building cars and flipping them made me appreciate cars in a while new way. I even made the trip through Dallas a few times and stopped at the shop to see it in person. I even went to visit his restaurant Gas Monkey Bar & Grill and tried for the first time his new line of cinnamon tequila. It was an awesome experience to see everything in person although I didn't see Richard himself I did see others from the show. I love all of the builds they have done and look forward to seeing the car they are building to go head to head against the Street Outlaws in what they are calling a "Mega Race". Two of my favorite shows colliding this comping Monday.
