Don't be fooled because they're video game tie-ins and not written by Clancy, these are actually some pretty fun reads.
I'd recommend starting with the first Ghost Recon novel.

This link takes you to my Clancyverse timeline, comprised of Tom Clancy’s novels as well as the video games. This timeline is completely fanon, but incorporates only events explicitly mentioned in the games and novels and supplementary material. Some notes for clarification: * I have ignored the Tom Clancy novels chronologically set after Rainbow Six as well as the Jack Ryan Jr. novels. * I have ignored the Splinter Cell novels and Splinter Cell: Essentials as they contradict with the main Splinter Cell series. This timeline incorporates Version 1 of Splinter Cell: Double Agent. * Tom Clancy's EndWar, The Division, Rainbow Six: Quarantine, and a few other video games (Mainly reboot games) have been ignored as they occur in separate continuities. * Some IRL people die earlier in the Clancyverse than in real-life, so their death dates will not match up to real-life history. (Noted examples being Saddam Hussein (who is implied to be the Iraqi president assassinated in Executive Orders), and Fidel Castro who dies in 2006 according to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder. In regards to Saddam Hussein, because the Iraq War does happen in the Clancyverse according to Rainbow Six series and Ghost Recon series, the timeline assumes that a leader that was a Hussein sympathizer takes office, and the events play as they did in the real-world, just with this new leader. Take this as fanon. * I basically had to ignore mentions of presidents being re-elected if it did not match with other games. (Or just write it off as them resigning.) Again, this is the fanon aspect of the timeline. This timeline ignores the Outbreak Event in Rainbow Six: Siege, and considers it non-canon.
Spoilers for Ghost Recon Breakpoint:
Nomad and his ghosts are outnumbered by Walker’s forces until a portal opens revealing Sam Fisher and Sarah Fisher who nod and a couple of Fourth Echelon agents join him while another portal opens with the H.A.W.X flying out as another portal opens with Rainbow Six operators getting out as Ash asks if they got all of them to Tachanka who complains that if she wanted more and lastly, a final portal opens with Division Agents led by Faye Lau. The Division, Team Rainbow, H.A.W.X and Fourth Echelon groups unite as Nomad tells them to assemble as they run towards Walker who prepares to fight.

Project Wingman Alpha Test 5
ITS HERE!
Current latest version : v0.3.3
Hello everyone!
It has been quite a while since I've released a Project Wingman demo. After 7 months it's finally here! This will be the second last demo before the Kickstarter Campaign of the game so please look forward to that!
This is not quite the “BIG” demo I’ve been hyping up for a while (boo). However, this release will have a few new toys for you to play with and an additional level that showcases different aspects within Project Wingman. At heart this demo is mainly a huge polish pass of the game and a lot of bugfixes, which is why it has taken this long to release.
That being said, it's the same drill as before. I'm looking for feedback on all aspects. One of the main things introduced in this update is difficulty options. Please let me know what you think of them!
Kickstarter along with the final demo with an additional mission and a sample of Conquest mode coming Early 2018.

it is not a coincidence that the Tom Clancy games went to shit after Mr. Clancy died.
You probably wouldn't have thunk it, but the Tom Clancy video game novels are actually pretty good.
They're good intros to military fiction, and even if you're a Tom Clancy fan, they're still worth a read.
One thing I like about them is it gets to the action quicker since they were sorta meant for teens, but that's not a bad thing. They don't insult your intelligence like most novels for teens do. They more or less just simplify the politics and military minutia for a wider audience.
Give em a chance if you can.
