If you guys could take a little time to read and reblog this, that would be amazing. Sorry for the extremely graphic picture.
So, my older sister Kimberly(On the right in the left picture) is one of the funniest, loving, energetic people I know. She’s truly beautiful on the inside and out. She’s also the biggest Taylor Swift fan I know, she listens to her every day, has a framed poster of her, and is always dying to go to one of her concerts (so if she could somehow possibly see this that would be grand).
Sadly, in the last couple of weeks doctors found a very large tumor on the left side of her brain. Apparently she’s had this tumor since she was a little girl- and that it has been impairing her sight and her speech. She just recently has been having seizures and migraines because of it.
Luckily-Thursday, February 13th, a surgeon removed almost all of her tumor. We still have no word on whether the part they couldn’t remove will need to be treated be radiation or chemo, or whether the tumor itself is cancerous. She’s currently in recovery (as seen in the left picture), but can barely remember her name, move, or speak. It’s going to be a long recovery process, but truly we’re happy that the tumor has been removed.
Though the surgery is over with, my family is experiencing massive strains-emotionally and financially.
My parents have been missing work, I’ve been missing work, and my older sister is completely out of work. This makes it very hard for us to pay for the surgery and all of the medical costs that have been accumulated over the past weeks.
My sister’s old boss started a gofundme to help ease the struggles of what we’re currently enduring, and I’m sure more to come.
If any of you have even a dollar to spare, please, please help donate to my sister’s funds.
If you can’t, thats completely fine, and I thank you for taking the time to read this, and if you could please share it that would mean the world to me! Thank you once again for taking your time to read this, all prayers and positive vibes are greatly appreciated.
