even if of course we are not half gay and half straight we are still perceived like that and not accepted by “the two main groups”

Rumi’s demon patterns represent internalized biphobia and thats why she feels shame about her demonic side

Rumi hiding parts of herself bcs it's seen as awful and her auntie telling her to cover it up and "fix" her... auntie tried so hard to "accept Rumi" but couldn't love all of her

And she said to Jinu he helped her bcs the more she talked to him, less shame she felt? and her “voice” healed? that resonated so much with how I overcame internalised biphobia, by building communities with bisexuals.

he’s the first person she’s able to relate to, and accepting him means accepting herself.

Hiya my lovely UK bisexuals, reminder that Bi Pride UK will be happening on the 31st August 2025 at Kings Place (Kings Cross, London).

It’s still a relatively new and small event so it’d be lovely to see more bi people show up for ourselves and build community! <3

If you want to make a queer old day of it, the new Queer Britain museum is also just around the corner also in Kings Cross, so you could pop over there as well if you fancy :)

Plus (this is just getting better and better) the queer bookshop Gay’s The Word of Pride-(the 2014 movie)-fame is a pretty short walk away as well, so Bi Pride’s location this year is just a great area for all things queer!!
